      Tik Tok in nutshell:

    • @imsimple379
      @imsimple379 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nah, I'm mentally ill and disabled and no one told me until I was a teenager even though they knew the whole time and just let me believe I had behavioral issues and actually punished me for it. Now, I'm trying to get an education and a job to pay for a therapy bill and meds I might have to take so I can live my life slightly less stressfully. Don't understand why people wanna be mentally ill when they see others struggle as much as we do with these issues. When I found out I was ADHD and on the spectrum, I cried. I got punished for things I couldn't control and everyone who punished me _knew_ about those and don't even feel bad and used being Christian as an excuse. Gen Z is this mess of trying to erase what our parents and grandparents have done while trying to be original, but we don't need to be original. We need to be smarter and improve on what's already here during our generation to make it easier for _our_ kids and grandkids.

Gives a bad stigma to everyone who ACTUALLY suffers from mental illness, which most of these kids have no f-ing idea about. Their "disorder" is just crying out for attention because they're just attention seeking and act like mental illness is "cool and quirky". It's frigging pathetic,and a slap in the face to all the people WHO ACTUALLY suffer daily from these illnesses.

    As a 30 year old dude, I sometimes lay in bed at night trying to sleep when my brain decides to give me the highlight reel of all the most embarrassing things i did as a young teen. But none of that stuff even remotely compares to what's gonna keep these kids up at night in a few years. They don't even know the torment that's coming. The sleepless nights. And the best part is? It's on the internet. It's there forever, even if they delete their tiktoks, they've been downloaded and reuploaded so many times, they will never be able to escape the cringiest things they've ever said/done. This alone *fuels* me.

      My poor sister is a part of gen z and is so embarrassed to be a part of that generation. I don't blame her. They are NUTS. At 28, I'm worried about the generation my son was born into. I'm hoping his generation will be somewhat more normal and have better heads on their shoulders. Good thing his father and I have a very strong relationship and plan to raise him to be more rational, kind, and respectful than those in gen z. I've seen too many parents in my generation (millennials) raise their kids to be disrespectful, confused, irrational, and/or a bunch of other not-so-good adjectives that have really been a detriment to gen z/the next generation. Hell, I'm a preschool teacher and those parents in my generation are nutter butters.

    We were all young once. We all did and said stuff we thought was clever, edgy, or intelligent when we were teens, and even young adults, that we now realize was pure cringe. Some took it to greater extremes, but we've all been there in some capacity. Hell, most of us don't even live long enough to ever truly get our shit together. Life is short, and we're slow at growing. So I cut the kids these days some slack. Their cringe is viral, and we should probably be thankful that ours wasn't.

    My mom and her friend were witches, and it never involved period blood or anything as stupidly gruesome. They moved from Ohio to Oklahoma to become reborn Christians because of their Wiccan lifestyles before wicca was even a coined term for Walden Books and Hot Topic. My Moms friend Paulette became a Minister, she would minister her life story up to the point of being reborn, and she changed a lot of lives' in Oklahoma with a 100% successful conversion rate.
    You see to be wiccan, satanic, or a witch of some sort, you have to believe in god. Most leftists and gen z do not know this. They claim to be atheists, fight for climate change, and hate flat earthers but dawn the armor of antichristian while actively claiming to be atheist. which is a contradiction in itself.
    There are good witches, real witches, derived from the word Wits, she had her wits about her, in the 1500's she mixed Aloe with beezwax to create ointments that we now use modern day from Walgreens or CVS. IN fact any woman raised in the depression will tell you they did everything from scratch, Made Soaps and shampoos, Fragrances, Sugar, syrups, foods, everything was made from the earth for survival,. which is what a witch was when science was deemed magic during the dark ages.
    That being said,..
    The snowflake generation takes everything that was at one time cool and extremes it to meme status, wasteful virgins who resort to black make up for attention. In my day we didnt buy black make up we made our own, and the gothic look, wasnt a hot topic spend craze, it was hand me downs because of poverty.

Born in 97, but remember 911. To be honest, it’s the newer generations who always claim you can’t remember your early childhood. I remember like 2000, on. I started hating the trends at damn near ten and identify with the world of my early childhood more. Like 10- down and I remember it fine. @@Jojo_D_Northstar how do u know? Gen z goes from 1996/1997-2010.
      Wich means we have we have 5 years of 20+ and 9 years of 11-19 years old.
      If u claim that most gen z arent teens that u claim that within these first 5 years of the generation were more children born than in nearly ten years after that.
      Looking at these numbers i am sure that it is not the case, and the majority of gen z is actually a teen. But feel free to show me a study or statistic showing that there were indeed less babys born from 2002-2010 than from 1996/1997-2001.

      Now here’s the full story:
      Five year old me was presented with a play-dough, such play-dough felt from my hands when I was in the escalator. Due to the fact it was my 5 year old birthday, I thought I was grown-up enough to get it. Ended up getting a small cut in my tiny fat finger (lucky me) so the cut wasn’t too severe. Went to the mall’s first aid clinic, they cleaned the cut and gave me some bandages, that I would switch to some pretty cool spider man band-aids later on. It was a very superficial cut, so, a few weeks later it was all fine!

    The thing I dislike so much about witch trials is that everyone thinks it was just women. Also parts of the world more people were burned for being werewolves than witches. One town (forgot its name sorry) was 13 men and 12 women. Also Salem was started by 3 women framing other women out of jealously.

  • @haunted7937
    @haunted7937 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    for the witchcraft one, witchcraft is an actual practice but some loud people on tiktok make it look like an aesthetic. and no actual witches were burned at the stake. the salem witch trials happened because a group of young girls claimed they were cursed by a witch (and they blamed it on a black woman who had some african practices. i don’t remember the specifics i just went to a show in salem a year ago) some historians believe it was mental illness, some believe they were making it up for attention and it just spiraled out of control
    but witchcraft is an actual thing with history and it’s sad that it’s getting a bad rap by these people
