Personally, I wouldn’t have accepted those “gifts” in the first place. Call it pride or whatever, but I always believe things like a house or a car, things that are considered upgrades in this game of life, are things that you should and must afford on your own. If someone gives me a house for free, even as charity or goodness of their heart, I’d feel like I’d lose my own agency as a person. I would feel forever indebted to that person, and I’d have to do everything in my power not to ruin my relationship with that person because they are the ones who sheltered me. I’d hate that so much. I don’t understand how people can just easily accept these from others and not think of the potential events that would occur that would take those things away from you.

I was luckily enough to get a car as a gift when I graduated highs school but that doesn’t mean it’s completely free. I use the car to commute to school and work. I pay for the car notes and gas’s and stuff. People who don’t have to pay for anything regarding the car or house themselves is just crazy!

Ya, I feel like don't buy someone else a car as a gift. That just becomes a mess if they split up, since technically it was a gift, regardless if you still owe money on it or not. If the car was paid off, and they split, would he asked for it back? If so, then the car was never really a gift in the first place, and if so, don't call it a gift.
That's why non material gifts are better. Take them to dinner or vacation rather then giving them an object. They can't keep a vacation that you already went on if they try to break up with you. Just the memories.

I know a guy who pays for the bills on his ex's house and pays for her car even though they've not been together for 3 years. He does this because they fell out of love and decided to split however he works away and makes good money she had a part time local job that paid pennies. When they split they agreed that she would look after the 3 kids and he could visit and have them whenever he wanted (providing it was possible obv) and in return hed continue to make the payments on the house they shared. That way he knows his kids are happy content and have a roof over their heads and he can still have a pretty decent relationship with his ex for the kids and families and friends sakes.
So... what is the bint from the video doing to deserve her ex keep paying for her car and her house? Other than being stuck up and entitled?

She was happy in her job but never took it because she needed it. They never stopped being friends they just grew apart. His kids are his whole world as long as they are comfortable and happy he's happy. I don't see why the way another man spends his hard earned money is upsetting you. Especially when he's spending it on his kids to make sure their lives are as good as they can be when he's not around. My grandparents got a divorce in the 60's, my grandma got the kids, but then decided to give the 3 kids back to my grandpa while KEEPING the child support, using the money to party with the married handyman, trying to convince him to get a divorce and marry her (she succeeded, then dumped him after having a kid, found another guy, repeat, repeat).
My grandpa, bless him, never went to the courts because it was the 60's and he was afraid the courts would take his kids away, and he wanted his kids, even if he had to pay his pos cheating ex to keep them.

Okay so after watching the entire conversation, the female was in a situation where she was in a relationship with this man for 'x' amount of years, helped him come up to fortune and fame, they split, then he paid her living costs even years after they broke up. It was debated whether the guy should feel obligated to or played about paying her rent, etc. and the consensus amongst both men and women present were the ex didn't care what she had going on sexually after they broke up because she helped him get where he is financially and socially. Whether I agree with their opinions or not remains to be seen (I agree most with the girl with the red silk press until near-end) but it adds details to this analysis.
If she was living in my apartment then she said oh I am not leaving... the sheriff department would be escorting her off the premises real quick. First of all why would the girl make the guy for her things to keep her 'lifestyle" going, are'nt the girl should be the one paying for her shart to get the "lifestyle" she wants/has. Like, if the girl wants that "lifestyle" then she should start working to afford her "lifestyle". Some people need to know boundaries of relationships, it's the most basic shart to know if you are in a relationship.

That's like quitting or losing a job and saying "I'm not going to go back to my old lifestyle", even though you're not making that money anymore.
It’s like if you get glasses and have a 1 year warranty. You went FOR THE GLASSES, but also got a warranty, and whatever else comes with the package. But if you get glasses from another place, the old warranty and package does not apply to the new glasses. She does not have to move out, if she can rely on her own money, since whoever was paying before is no longer obligated to help or even be involved with her AT ALL. Is she so entitled that she won’t even put the effort to afford her own place?
