I love this!. Buyouts are key. Landing Stamkos and Kane might be a stretch but the lineup looks really good. A little light on physicality but very balanced otherwise. The D would be imposing and the minutes would be allowed to spread over 3 pairings which would keep everybody fresher. Having Fischer as the 13 forward would be a fantastic way to round off your projection. Staggering the goalie situation to allow Cossa and Augustene to mature is also brilliant. Well done!

We are dreaming Buschy if we were to sign both Kane and Stamkos for sure. I don't recall if a team in recent memory ever had three buy outs at once. Holl of course I could see a buyout and maybe Petry as well. Copp that would be a challenge in a real world. Fabbri, and Husso sure a possibility on a trade.

Petry and copp won’t be a buyout. It would be dumb. Holl traded or buyout. Petry becomes 7th def. He’s cheap. Copp would be tradable in 25/26. Besides he still is able to win face offs and is good on the pk. Not for 5 mil. But it is what it is. I’m def not against Copp being traded tho. Kane is probably gone. Stamkos is a 50/50 honestly.

    • @jackconrad2667
      @jackconrad2667 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Fabbri could stay or leave. He plays well enough to stay on that 3rd line. Husso is probably a wing next year. I want him gone. U want him gone. Yzerman wants him gone. He costs too much and is hurt and a 892. If yzerman big move this offseason is moving Husso and bringing in markstrom that would be a crazy move and probably cost a first round pick and 50% retain on husso

Love it, for the most part. Im with ya, get aggressive.
The best way to mitigate that many rc's mistakes is limited, situational minutes in a top heavy lineup.
The pushback, as far as realistic, there is no way copp gets bought out.
Also there's no way yzerman is going to handle the off season with the mindset that danielson, kasper and mazur will be on the team. They are all gonna have to earn it.
Marschasault is a guy i really want them to bring in, even over resigning kane.
I generally believe yzerman is looking at alot of the names we hear available on the trade market ( ehlers, necas ).
I think our desire for an aggressive off season is closer to reality than not.

1 tough guy on the list wont hurt, you don't have to play them every night but its nice to have one if you need them rather than not. I know some of the young guys are big boys that can handle the hits but you never know when you need someone who can take care of business every know and again.

This would be a dream. In reality, Yzerman has to pull off a miracle in moving off of Holl, Husso, Fabbri and maybe Chiarot. Almost assuredly would have to deal 2/3 of Berggren, Johansson & a 1st.

I like what you've done. It's time to bring up the "kids" . It doesn't take four years to prove they're men. However, no matter who is on the roster, they will be playing for coach LaLonde. He's a good coach with X's and O's, but does he motivate the Wings to be better, more aggressive, more physical. No he does NOT. The Wings play a weak defense; they don't hit anyone; they don't move opponents away from the net. No one is afraid of the Wings; opponents skate with no fear of being hit. Bring in Jerry Gallant to coach the current Wings to be a more aggressive team. His record with Las Vegas expansion team is justification. His record with NY Rangers more proof. AND, he's got Red Wing blood in his veins.

Yes on the buyouts, no on Gibson, yes on the signings, no on Stamkos, definitely yes on Zadorov and Kane. Like the dream team except for Stamkos and Gibson. I'd stick with Husso and bring up Solderblom. Defense is so much stronger that even with the rookies, we'll be at least as good as last year. Definitely keep Fisher for PK.

Well, this certainly is craziness, lol.
Edit: My thoughts is that this is OK.
I'd rather have a good 2-way Barkov style (not Barky of course) player over both Stammer and Kane. I worry about the forward defense with this lineup. Neither of these guys give much thought to the defensive side, so for me it seems it would be better to go one or the other. I don't want to end up like the Laffs.
Not sure who is available as I haven't been keeping too up-to-date on the trades/ufas. Maybe I'll look at cap-friendly before it becomes Captials Unfriendly.
    D is great!
    Cool with Gibson.
