Nothing annoyed me more than people talking bad on Raymond after last season sophomore slump. He finished the season strong. I ain’t worried one bit. I think people forget how much potential this kid has. He has all the tools in the world to be an elite 80+ point producer. I expect him absolutely to break out this year. Put the NHL on notice.
He played amazingly for Sweden this summer at the WC... He was one of the best Swedes on the team, despite there being some pretty big NHL names on there lol. I expect a big season too.

The rote answers for “Can the Wings make the playoffs?” should be: “It’s such a tight division, it will depend upon how other teams do. That being said, it will probably be so close that every game matters and we should treat it as such”.

The last five games have been great but it’s a long season and anything can happen.
Lucas needs to have a bounce back year if the Wings are to compete for a playoff berth.
