What a great discovery to enjoy all day long Sunday with the preludes of César Franck !!! Thank you so much Brilliant Classics for this beautiful gift...
Wow! Lithuania's got Major Talent! "Picture-Perfect" performance....the justly famous Prelude, Choral et Fugue: Choral (38:51). They sometimes remind of Arensky's huge piano Opera 36 & 63. BRAVA!!!

viva mucho más Bach en la obra de piano de Franck que en su obra organística y orquesta. Me parece una música magnífica, con un mensaje muy nítido para nuestros días, gracias ms Franck, gracias Mdam Rubackyte!
I think that the Prelude, Chorale, and Fugue and the Prelude, Aria and Final are both originally for piano (although I've also heard them both performed on organ, so I'm not totally sure). The Prelude, Fugue, and Variation is definitely an organ piece though.
@@thekenanski8789 Prelude, fuga et variations was written for piano and harmonium (4 hands). Later Franck reworked it in a version for violin, harp and piano and another for organ.
Quite franckly, I think Prelude, Fugue et Variation is the greatest piano composition of all. Yes, that's a bold claim. But Franck's ability to keep an ubroken string of unresolved melodies and chords alive is beyong measure. Disquieting and disturbing, this piece played during the war in Ukraine - well, I'll leave that up to you.

The interpretation of 'Prélude, Aria et Final' is particularly beautiful and original, if I may say so.

Does anyone know which of the piano arrangements for the Prelude, Fugue et Variation is she playing?
이 곡만 들으면 마음이 이상하다..전생에 뭔가가 있었던 것처럼,,,
Did he actually write any pieces for the piano or are these all transcriptions from organ pieces?

The Prelude, Fugue and Variation is one of the greatest love-songs ever written. But to whom?
Probably all of us who love him and his music.
It’s religious music.
💕

Ютуб опять начал прерывать и замедлять музыку. Вынуждена была перейти на другой канал.
She's more beautiful than this music ;-)
I am not sure that you understand this music. Franck has composed P. C. and Fg, and P. A. and Fn, when he was 61 resp. 63 years old.
@@maartenvanderlek8955 I do -- am a classical al organist.
Tedious, melancholic, dark, in the end, annoying to my ears.
do you play?
