I participated in my first open 23.1 after joining crossfit 5 months ago. I got 155 reps scaled and I am super proud. Especially since when I started I couldn't do a single squat. My coach said, small sets, small breaks. As a newbie. Good advice and I needed to hear that. I am so excited for 23.2! These videos inspire me and so many!
Amazing display of fitness! You seem so calm and less frantic than other athlete videos I've watched. Love the voiceover. Thanks for the transparency and sharing with us!
Amazing score but for the rower why didn’t you set it as intervals with variable rest time (you finish your first set and it will tee up a second round for when you are ready, gives you ten minutes to start your second round)
Perhaps try to improve your rowing technique - you are opening up the body too soon but who I am to comment 🙃, with a 1st place in the world 🎉 AMAZING 💪🏼
Hopefully this comment saves you some heart ache at quarterfinals - the official CrossFit rule is that you film all the floor plan and weights PRIOR to the workout!
It does and I think it’s mostly so people don’t forget to do it. I always do it after because I find sometimes it’s hardest to get the camera angle right so once it’s set I like to just start instead of measuring then messing with the camera for 2 minutes 😂. CrossFit has never had a pro sled with it as long as it’s one shot.
@@patrickvellner4367 checks out, yeah the camera angle is tough to re-set while recording. I’m sure Hiller would have a field day if CrossFit decided to strictly enforce that one 😂
“Row at about 75% so thats about 1500 to 1600 cal/hr for me” bruh😂 what a beast lets go uncle pat

Currently sitting in 1st place in the world; absolutely insane performance!
And looking so relaxed abt it! 🙀
Thanks for having the opportunity to watch how can we approach the workout !!
Great job Pat! I hate when the rower monitor is slow to turn on. 10 seconds feels like a full minute in that situation!

Well done, Pat. We couldn't be more proud. Go get 'em this year.
Love the breakdown! Thanks Pat
Can’t wait to see you in the open announcement next week!!
Great job Pat. Nice clean reps as always!
Love it Pat! Rooting for you to crush it this year
Awesome
You crushed it. Reminded everyone who musta forgot!
Good vid and nice shoes Pat! Excellent job
good work champ 👋👋👋
304 reps actually you're the best
Hey Pat, massive fan. Your a Patrick red head from Canada, so you have the Irish vote always. Best of luck for the season.

Eres un MAQUINA !
Great video! Appreciate the info and hearing what goes on in the head of a pro crossfitter!!
Thanks a lot for sharing!
Paddy Vellner, the people's champ, yea!
Thanks for sharing Pat!
you rock !!!
Awesome work Pat!
Beast mode! Let's GOOOOO!
You are my new favorite
Legend.
The fact that if your rower worked you would have finished the toes to bar is insane!
way to go, uncle pat
Not doing it alone in an empty gym is exactly why I've waited until Monday 😂
Impressive !

Mostly just because I didn’t think I’d have to and I was lazy. Lesson learned I guess
Hoping this is your year to take home that games gold 🤞
Crushed it
Pat is so strong :)
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
J'espère que les Games seront pour toi cette année 🤞
👏👏💪💪
You need a proper battery for that rower….
Pat would have won that workout with a PM5 & batteries.
PS Pat, I ordered a PM5 for my rower and got it $200+$70 customs… awful but worth it
Beware, Noah is looking your video 👀👻😂💪
9:43 , 12:35
youll never beat Rich Froning
