2024 Scott Carver Threshing Show - Jordan, MN // Featuring J.I. Case

A great show indeed! Starting at 2:57, Kenny shows the Vilter steam engine driven ammonia refrigeration compressor(s). This machine is beyond incredible! I hope to go next year just to study that machine! Honestly, a person should do a full length video just on that machine. Fun Fact: the Vilter steam driven ammonia compressor at Nowthen came from the same meat packing plant in St. Paul. But, the machine at Nowthen is significantly smaller and was a support compressor used when servicing the three main refrigeration compressors (of which the sole survivor is at Jordan).

Very cool information, Bryan! Some of the pieces of equipment at these shows truly amaze me - not only in operation... But the fact that they survived the fate of 'what could have been'!

Another show featuring J.I. Case! I really like the Case Crossmotor tractors. They are really big tractors. Steam engine ride looks like a lot of fun. Hope to get my opportunity at Nowthen to ride on a steamer. Thank you for sharing!🚜👍

The Crossmotor line has small to very large included in it. The biggest is the 40-72. I believe the smallest is a 9-18, or somewhere thereabouts?
