    Thanks Ryan, this is exactly what I was referring to a few weeks ago when I mentioned seeing more of your products on your channel and the way you use them. As much as I want to use liquid fertilizer I find it to be just so much more work. Sprayer, mixing, water, PPE.
    Granular fertilizer - just wait until some rain is forecast and then just put it in a hand spreader and throw it down. So much quicker, and easier.

    I love liquid apps! My favorite is doing a soil app with bios + ~.2lb N and watering in. Then doing a foliar app the very next day with ~.2lb N along with iron. The foliar app jump starts it and the soil app kicks in right after for the surge in color / growth.

    Avid user of Ryan's product lines. I alternate between EqualizORR and GreenORR throughout seasons (except winter, obviously). I do a single application of each every 4 weeks, alternating every two weeks.
    GreenORR is liquid, and therefore easy to apply with either a backpack or hose-end sprayer.
    EqualizORR, the soluble powder, was intended for tank sprayers, but I do not often mix into a backpack tank (I have, but rarely). Rather, I did the calculation of how much product my lawn needed: about 10oz for a 2000sf lawn. Putting the powder by weight into the hose sprayer tank, filling with warm water and agitating thoroughly. Then, I just set the dial to about 3 oz/gal and start spraying, going over and over the lawn until the tank is empty.
    Alternating EqualizORR and GreenORR is the cat's whiskers, especially on Ryan's Elite PRG. "Lush" is an understatement. Try it!

    What I found out, especially in my area and with sandy soils, is that there is enough Phosphorus (P) naturally in the soil already. Im looking for something with ammonium sulfate as nitrogen with like 20% N and then a good chunk of that to be Potassium (K) 10-20%. Maybe some micros and definitely some iron. This fertilizer would benefit most lawns IMO without the need of much anything else. Sea kelp and hydrotain are just cherrys on top. You think Ryan is applying sea kelp and hydrotain to every square-foot of acres he has, no, but maybe NPK and some iron.

    • @ryanknorrlawncare
      @ryanknorrlawncare  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It will also depend on your pH as to how much of that P is getting to the plant. I have GrowORR soluble which is the analysis you're looking for and a granular coming soon with similar analysis. I use SoakORR (wetting agent) on certain areas but mostly NPK is what is applied at my place.

Is this because the lawn is not growing like it should, is it because it's mid-summer and heat during the days is usually around 90 or does it take more than a week to take effect?
