When it comes to Home Theater audio or video, maybe everything matters but really how much does it matter is the important thing we need to look at! Is it even noticeable? With projector screens as long as you don't have significant color shift going on from a "white" screen, you might be good with the calibration settings from the manufacturer! But of course that means that they would have had to calibrate it to some standard. Yes you can have a calibration done with a projector, and maybe with your projector it will make a good bit of difference. What do you think? Did you get your projector calibrated, was it worth it? Did blacks, colors, or something else become dramatically different post calibration? Did you spend a lot on your screen? Would you do that again? Let us know your thoughts in the comments! Thanks for watching!

Yea, I love this about my Benq, but once the current vein of laser projectors we are seeing popping up like the Valerian, have vertical and horizontal lense shift, then I'd probably start looking to upgrade.
Oh yes they do but other factors like vision, sitting distance etc can affect its importance.
When I tested a gazillion samples it was easy to notice the best from the rest. I ended up with 2 top spots tied for PQ ...they Stewart st130 G4 and the Seymour Glacier White
I surely wanted to save money with a cheaper oneile silver ticket or so but there was no way I was going to handicap my JVC with those unfortunately.
3rd place went for the Severtson
Joe here. I didn't say they don't make a difference. I said that the factory settings and whether it's factory calibrated will make MORE of a difference. If you had to choose between a factory calibrated PJ and a Silver Ticket screen vs. a poorly calibrated projector on a Stewart, which would you choose? For some of these $2K-$3K projectors, people aren't going to pay to get them calibrated.
