Thanks, Dr. Michael. Your information is concise and to the point. Any more concise would not deliver the message properly. Many more of us appreciate your great efforts.
Thank you for your support and feedback Tom. I had hoped this was right because I’d hate to make these much shorter than 10-15 min. Compared to 1+ hours I’ve felt that was a decent amount of time
Glad you enjoyed it Jody. Did you listen on the podcast then jump onto TH-cam? Just curious. As to your question, I think you mean BPC 157. From what I researched it’s a peptide that can assist as an anti inflammatory. Generally, reducing inflammation is always a good idea with chronic illness. As far as PD goes, I don’t see research that has connected BPC 157 with PD symptom improvements. Other methods of alternative treatment would be ketogenic diets, which help reduce inflammation, and there are many other supplements that have been linked with improvements in either PD symptoms or they are known to reduce inflammation from oxidative stress and protecting healthy cells.
@@parkinsonsdiseaseeducation yessir! I always listen on Spotify but no spot to ask questions there so figured I’d comment here. Yes again to bpc 157 (my typo there). It’s apparently a major peptide going around the athletic and strongman world right now for faster muscle recovery and gains so wanted to see if there was any correlation for Parkinson’s as well. Thanks for the info!
Makes sense. That’s cool, I appreciate you coming from Spotify to the YT channel. I could be wrong about BPC 157, but as far as I know there isn’t an established link at the moment. I have an open mind, so if I hear anything I will be sure to share it!
That can definitely cause oxidative stress. And with this much continued stress it can be hard for the body’s natural antioxidant properties to keep up with
Not much point in doing another one. This is around 13 minutes, have you seen how long videos from Parkinson’s Foundation, Davis Phinney, etc are? Typically they are recorded webinars that are like an hour long on a single topic.
@garyc9908 I can sympathize with that. I’m not sure it’s been done yet, but often TH-cam will automatically add “chapters” to videos that you can skip to based on the topic being discussed. This upload is brand new so it probably doesn’t have that yet
Thank you for sharing and explaining so well with the analogy. Most of these from other sources are more than an hour to explain. Thanks again
Thanks so much for your feedback Steve. That’s exactly my goal in this length of video.

Wow! Thank you so much Kurt!! Not expected, but much appreciated.
Really enjoyed this on the podcast. Any thoughts on BPK 157?

What about living under chronic stress for years, combined with generalised anxiety disorder and depression and trauma
That can definitely cause oxidative stress. And with this much continued stress it can be hard for the body’s natural antioxidant properties to keep up with
im taking my medication levodopa i wish that it.helps.
Levodopa is certainly a good place to start. Something like Nrf2 and other supplements can also be a great addition to treatment
I m suffring trigeminl nurelgea and parkisans 😢😢
I’m so sorry you are having to deal with each of these conditions. Lots of pain. :-(
Do another video on this
Keep it short and simple
Get to the conclusion

@@parkinsonsdiseaseeducation OK it's just that my attention span is short
All the best
