Not Ethan with the sketchiest wood working station 😅love the makeover, it really separates the office from the living room nicely and makes everything look cohesive!

The balcony turned out great! What a handy bench and the piece of wood on the air conditioner looks good. I think there are rug pads you can get that you put under the rug to stop it moving around. Have to mention when Ethan turned the stud finder on himself and found a stud was very funny!

Can I recommend you guys actually move the couch a bit further back to give you more space? And then move the rug underneath the couch. Might help to keep the rug flat, for one, but just looks tidier and more intentional.

Esme is so cute. I hope she settles in. The apartment looks really good. I would suggest securing the table to the railing though so it doesnt have any chance to blow back into the glass (i am not sure how protected your balcony is)
Our balcony is super protected so I think it’ll be fine (we’ve had two very windy days and it hasn’t moved at all!)
.... anyone else notice the kitchen cupboards are always open? I couldnt atop looking at them, haha! The place looks amazing! Its a great apartment! I love the artwork; Gorgeous! And i actually have that gold floor mirror too! ... although i didnt get as good a deal, as you guys did, damn! Great video ❤❤❤

Firstly, Esme is adorable.
Secondly, I think it could look cool if you had a couple more booze related prints in some different sizes around the Aperol print.
Thirdly, I agree with another commenter that pushing the lounge back a bit and puttng the rug partially under it would be a good option.
Edit: I forgot to mention that the mirrors are so bloody cute. Love me an ornate antique mirror.

The rug thing.. do you have one of those non-slip rug mats underneath? I couldn’t afford both, so I bought one of the kitchen non slip and cut it in pieces and put in the corners of the rug and works the same.
Have you thought about a wall mounted adjustable arm for your tv, you could put it in the corner and then push it flush against the wall when not using it. That way you’re not blocking the sun when not watching tv.

I don't know if it would have been your vibe but I would have tried to push the couch against your kitchen counter and use that as the "table behind your couch" thingy, and move your desk area maybe closer to the window? It would make for a bigger living room I think, but you wouldn't have that view on the outside probably.
We did think about that but there’s so much food/water spillages in our kitchen the couch would get ruined really quickly hahaha
On your Diy bar table outside, I would glue a piece off wood that sits behind the hand rail to ensure that the table doesn’t fall back.
It’d be awful if that fell and made the chairs fall into glass doors 😬

oooh i dont think the table is at any risk of falling back but i'll get ethan to check it to be sure! we've used non slip pads on the railing so it feels nice and secure x
It turned out great. Art makes such a difference. Am I the only one who's a tad concerned that the outside mirror is a potential fire hazard?
somebody else commented about the mirror but it doesn't reflect the light onto anything that would burn! it's also in a shaded part of the balcony. I'll be sure to keep an eye out though x

Hahaha omg you’re the cutest!! It wasn’t very comfortable for us lol as cute as it was, we wanted something softer. We actually ordered this couch in green but it showed up blue and we kinda love it

I’m not quite sure about what I’m writing, but it seems that the mirror cannot be stored on the balcony, a fire may occur due to direct sunlight 🙇🏼♀️
I just commented the same thing. The concentrated beam in the reflection can cause a fire depending on where/what material it's hitting.

In the state I live in it’s totally legal to nail stuff into the walls!!

@@scrivspo I’m in Melbourne too, I suppose it depends on the landlord. When I was renting, we most definitely were not allowed but I’m a home owner now so I put nails and screws wherever I want 😆

you are blocking off flow by putting the sofa there. Not a fan. The vintage mirror doesnt work where it is and doesnt work with the rest of the decor. its a mish mash of random stuff put together in not a cohesive way.
