The shotgun yes but none of the other stuff is correct because of the North Hollywood shootout even in the 90s they were under equipped and would not have had body armor explosives maybe not even a long gun

The hood mounts are a reference to the Michigan State Police, a nice touch from Rockstar.
One of the liveries on this is based off of the 1970’s Tennessee Highway Patrol (LSPD Stealth).
Technically we don’t have highway patrol, we have state troopers

Actually it would be more accurate if the rims were white not black given that's how those old Dog Dish hubcap steelies went with body color
Also fun fact for a good 20 year period those old Monacos were the fastest police cars into the 1998 Crown Vic came out

@DigitalCarAddict not sure if you covered it, but police vehicles are listed on warstock as having a resell of 0. Think that maybe new as i sold my last 2 from previous dlc. Except the gauntlet interceptor?

Not sure if you've already seen it, but a lot of drift tune vehicles have received additional liveries which aren't available on the stock version.
For example the Drift Tampa now has 13 livery options rather than 2, and the Nebula Turbo has received 5-6 more liveries in addition to the 11 it already had.
I hope they create a mock up of the correct dodge monaco that was the bluesmobile from the blues brothers. Can’t get over the vertical lights on the model available in game. 🤞🏻 hopefully they do it with an faded cop livery with a megaphone
Those front reds on the pushbar seem to be reflectors not lights. Based on how they react in the light vs shadows.

If you double-tap and hold R3 while the siren is going, it changes to a different siren. It's different from just holding R3

My character’s got one of the glitched IAA badges on so I might need to get this car and make an undercover vehicle with that sweet dashboard light. Something the Impaler needed! I think these retro cars definitely needed the ability to choose the siren sound from all the ones available to the emergency vehicles. For this one I think the Highway Patrol motorbike or the Ambulance would fit better.
BTW the Declasse Yosemite 1500 the front bumper withe the light bar does work
Could've been a whole lot more custom upgrades for it, missed opportunity once again Rockstar 😔

1 painted white with Sheriff livery and Federal Signal Aerodynic lightbar resembling Roscoe P. Coltrane's car
2: Black & white Highway Patrol car with same lightbar as in this video
3: Hunter's Metallic green undercover car with Federal Signal Fireball on the dash.
I REALLY hope the Impaler LX will be brought in later as a cruiser too. That's my holy grail actually.

Can you try making Sheriff Teasle’s 1979 Ford LTD II from First Blood (1982)? I know they aren’t the same model, but I do see the similar options to make it
I'm so conflicted about these police cars. With the mounted stop sign on the hood, and emergency lighting two, you can make it look like a Michigan State Police car from the 70's. They used the Plymouth Fury, so this car would be great for that. Even though the Impaler doesn't have the mounted stop sign for the hood, it has the same single rotator, and that would make a great MSP car, too. The Fury is before my time, but as a kid in the 90's I remember seeing the Caprice MSP car all over. I wasn't going to get any of these police cars, but now I'm torn on the Greenwood or Impaler. lol
It's very nice but they made one error in that the blinkers on the roof mount should be flashing in the rear as well.

The steelies with the chrome covers in the lowrider category give better traction
The Red lights on the front of the car do work but only when the vehicle is moving.

Not sure if anybody mentioned it yet but I was able to bypass the Slush Fund requirement, I was doing the dispatch missions to check them out and noticed afterwards that I had the cars unlocked at the lower price.

Beware: I found out that even if you do Slush Fund, do NOT complete the Cluckin Bell raid itself as it'll completely reset the cars and lock you out of buying them as if you never completed that mission. I don't know if this has happened to anyone else or if it's just my game, but I just wanted to point that out to everyone
Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane and Jake and Elwood Blues would be proud

There's another new car if you pause and go to the careers thing and click on the bottom dollar bounties progress and go to tier 4 you can see the reward is a new car that isn't available to buy on the websites

If I could change 1 thing on this car, I would make the siren the same as the FIB Granger. The one it has right now sound too modern.

The problem I have with this car is the same one I have with the Dominator GTT.. The wheels don't turn enough compared to how much the car turns in low speeds, kinda ruins it for me
