The film footage is from the ICONIC August 15, 1965 concert at Shea Stadium in NYC. The attendance was 55,600 screaming kids! This concert was the peak of Beatlemania.
You need to remember, there really wasn’t anything like this at the time. It was ground breaking. If you take the journey from this period to Let It Be, you’ll see how they grew and the music matured.
John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo star, that's the beatles..*oh darling* would be a good next song, but you almost need to listen to a whole album to really get a feel for the beatles diversity in music..great job tho..
Recommending a specific song is difficult, because 8 Day's a Week represents only a small aspect of the Beatles, who explored 15+ different genres in their discography, some quite innovative. As an example of the range, one can listen to PS, I love you and then Helter skelter...
John Lennon's voice is definitely nasal, but Paul McCartney's voice is more clean and melodic. But, when they sang and harmonized together, it was MAGIC. For more great harmonies listen to "We Can Work it Out." This one is sang by Paul with John taking lead on the bridge. It's brilliant!
it was called "Beatlemania" ... the power of music... I suggest you watch them perform a song called "She Loves You" at the ABC Cinema in Manchester UK in 1963... you will see real Beatlemania if you do
Released in the US as a single in Feb.1965.Another #1 hit... The film shows The Beatles on August 15, 1965 playing to 56,000 crazed fans at Shea Stadium in NYC.
The great achievement of the Beatles is, apart from being great composers, is the fact that the melody lines and chord progressions were the ones who included and used them in popular music and rock and roll. Listening to the Beatles in the 21st century is listening to what everyone does now, but they were the ones who were in charge of laying the foundations for what everyone listens to now. Greetings
If I Fell is a perfect example of Paul and John’s beautiful and melodic harmonies. They progressed so quickly in their craft and the songs went from relatively simple (like this one) to highly complex in just a few years. Welcome to the journey!
The name of the Japanese group is Number_i. Please listen to their debut song Goat, and their TH-cam music video has been listened to 30 million times in less than a month. THANK YOU❤️
The Beatles' popularity soared worldwide after they first came to America in February 1964. Within two months after that visit, they owed the top five positions on the Billboards Top 100 list in record sales. This feat has been held to this day, and it is unlikely it will ever be broken.
the best Beatles Concert ( Utube ) I know of is from Australia, 1964. about the time the great film ' Hard days Night' was released. 30 min or so , including extra songs apparently violating contract rules, the back room guys did great letting the tape roll. and real good vid / audio quality. this is a LP playing, background film. see excerpts of ' Ed Sullivan show' US TV for 'beatlemania'
The female hysteria (old fashioned word) at the time was Off the Charts! Those who were able to attend the few concerts in the U.S. were swept up in the craziness and euphoria, as you easily saw. For us boys... ha!.. it was confusing, but verrrrry interesting !!
If you want an example of EXQUISITE harmonies from the Beatles, I recommend "Nowhere Man"....or "Elenor Rigby". You won't believe how clever they were, as vocalists. And they ushered in an entire wave of new music, known as the British Invasion. Literally DOZENS of excellent bands from the UK came here, capitalizing on Beatlemania, and they were all outstanding. The Hollies, Chad and Jermey, Petula Clark....dozens more, completely changed pop music in a matter of a few years.
They hated the song because they couln't create the intro on their own, so they relegated it to a regular LP song. In USA they discovered it as a gem and sell it as a single. It was a smash!
There's a clear path between this and the later Rubber Soul and Revolver albums. As George said, everything changed in November 66 and "it became just a job". Lennon became openly bitter and cynical. Then came Billy Shears...............
Hello beauty, pls consider reacting to my fav song "Yer Blues". It's Beatles song, but I recommend you version by The Dirty Mac. It was a supergroup made by Lennon, Richards, Clapton and Mitchell.Cheers!
“Blue Jay Way”😅 The Beatles were always a step ahead of everyone else and had several defining styles. All between’64 and ‘70. A next step would be Ticket to Ride.

There has NEVER been anything as crazy as Beatlemania, before or since. Girls went nuts and boys bought guitars and drums. Trust me, it was WILD.
I bought the exact set of Ludwig drums in late '65 and started a band the played mostly Beatle music. We were booked every weekend.
I love this song, so simple but meaningful. Catchy, you’ll never forget it.
Beatlemania will never die!
One of my favorite Beatles songs. Love all those great melody lines.
"You-re Gonna Lose That Girl....." ???????????
“Let It Be” would be a good Beatles song for you to hear.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍🙏🙏

Everything you said: WRONG
You should check out “This Boy” (the 2023 remix) for their three-part harmony skills!

Early Beatles are Joy, life, excitement, Love, fun, harmony and melody 🌺 ☀

best band ever!!!
You'd like " Oh Darling " for roundness, clarity and control. Greatest band EVER.

First ever outdoor stadium concert: 55,000 @ Shea Stadium:)
Hi, it may seem simple and charming to you, now, but then there was nothing like it. They invented the pop/rock world you live in
You’re listening to the greatest band of all time
Help, Revolution, Oh Darling, The long and winding road.

A later work ( more experimental ) with John singing solo: "Tomorrow Never Knows"

The Mop Tops were cool...
Dig the "Nehru" jackets.
They hated the song because they couln't create the intro on their own, so they relegated it to a regular LP song. In USA they discovered it as a gem and sell it as a single. It was a smash!
Please listen to Something by The Beatles. It was written by George Harrison ( his best ever)
There's a clear path between this and the later Rubber Soul and Revolver albums. As George said, everything changed in November 66 and "it became just a job". Lennon became openly bitter and cynical. Then came Billy Shears...............
Let's get it over and done with, react to "She's Leaving Home" 😢

You really should listen to The Long and Winding Road 😊
Has anyone yet to point out that the unison singing she hears during verses is John double tracking himself?
