Epic song. The Beatles were together for exactly 7 years, 7 months, and 24 days. In that timeframe they recorded 213 songs, 188 originals and 25 covers. To this day they hold the record of most #1 songs in the Top 100 list, 20 of them. There will never be another band like them. Ever.
Only the Beatles manage to sing "nanana" for minutes on end and you wish it never stopped. Three thumbs up!
I'll tell you, there is nothing like hearing this song at one of his concerts with the WHOLE audience singing it!!! Just pure magic!
Notice this is live and they make it look so easy, The greatest gifts of my life are my wife, my daughter and The Beatles.
Paul is maybe the most versatile singer ever. He can contort his voice to fit any musical style and convey any emotion. Occasionally all in one song. Pop tunes, love ballads, bluesy/jazzy numbers- from soulful gospel baritone, to hard rock screams to falsetto howls..and pure honey in between.
So glad I got to see Paul live in my lifetime. So fantastic ❤️❤️
The Beatles are still my favorite band of all time ❤27 number one songs
28 after Now and Then reached #1 in 2023
They also did 'Revolution' on this show.
Is that the official video for Revolution we see or another video I have to go find?
The two intros are so funny. They liked to poke fun at themselves! I'm glad we have videos like this to remind us of their music and humanity
It is a song along. Join in.😊
The Beatles took the world by storm in the early/mid 1960s and were a ground breaking group. All four members were successful as solo artists after they broke up. I remember sitting in a hotel room watching Monday Night Football on TV when it was announced that John Lennon had been murdered.
patriots vs dolphins dec 8 1980
Love me do. 1962
For Paul belting, check out "Oh! Darling" and "Helter Skelter"
...and "Monkberry Moon Delight" 😀
Two songs I always recommend listening to. As well as his live version of Maybe I'm Amazed from the 70's.
& ‘she’s a woman’ by the Beatles, underrated song
And “Long Tall Sally”, especially live versions.
also “live and let die”
the song was wriiten for john's son julian who was going through a tough time getting over john and cynthia lennon's divorce
You are correct 😊
my mum Judi loved this back in the 60's . For well you know that it's a fool
Who plays it cool
By making his world a little colder - for us guys who think playn it cool will get you the girl, it wont guys it just wont.
One of the most recognizable songs of all time
The were on The David Frost Show. The first tune they were playing was The David Frost Show theme.
The long outro made the record 7 minutes in length. And their producer George Martin said it was too long and wouldn’t be played by the DJs. John arrogantly and accurately retorted, they will if it’s us!
Martin should have remembered that Bob Dylan had scored a big hit with “Like A Rolling Stone” a few years earlier. That song was over 6 minutes long.
Considered one of the best songs- ever!
Considered THE BEST song ever by me. :)
I remember when these songs were brand new.
Beatle Paul..good looking ,great voice, iconic legend. Love this song. Terrific reaction.
My favorite band!
Pauls voice is great , shows it off hugely in 'say say say' with Michael Jackson duetting and keeps up with Michael throughout the song.
The best band ever.musical genius
The Beatles good, good to infinity... From Cucuta city Colombia 🇨🇴 South America
You'd probably enjoy hearing 'Live and let Die' by Paul McCartney (which was a James Bond movie soundtrack). Quite a roller-coaster of a song and his voice shining through it all.
Its a semi-live performance. They were playing and singing along with the record because rock bands playing live on tv back then could be problematic. Especially as the music became more complex.
I waited my whole life to sing with the Beatles. Paul and I finally nailed it together in 2010 at a concert, with this song. Imagine getting to sing Hey Jude, just him and me (seemed that way).
The biggest #1 hit of the 1960s!
The BEATLES!!! ❤❤❤
simplicity of their music? Wow!
Some people think the end is repetive but I think they just wanted to let the audience there just enjoy a once in a lifetime oppurtunity.
Please react to "I Got a Feeling" live performance by The Beatles. Thank u
The peak of the band.
More experimental: Beatles "Tomorrow Never Knows"
I have the original Apple label 45 disc to this framed on the wall Beatles fan my whole life
In my youth, this was always the last song at school dances!! The more recent live version with Paul from Hyde Park (I think?) is really great too!
❤❤ The Beatles ❤❤
Bohemian Rhapsody has this song to thank. Before this song radio never put longer songs on. This song was the first song over 7 minutes on the radio, making way for Queen's BR a few years later
Nope, it was MacArthur Park sung by Richard Harris June 1968. Hey Jude was 7 min 11 sec. MacArthur Park was 7 min 21 seconds, peaking at number 2 on on the Billboard Hot 100 on June 22, 1968
I love both songs. I was young in that Era.
@@thomastimlin1724Another great song!
imo, there is a greater influence of other beatles songs on bohemian rhapsody, e.g. happiness is a warm gun, a day in the life.
McCartney the absolute king of melody!!!!
The song they're doing there at the beginning of this television show is the theme song of that television show.
I’m 59yo, my big sister (RIP Gail) was always in love with a Paul.
Great song great reaction!!
It's always great to hear and see the music i remember while growing up 😀🎶🎸👍
Emma- This is paul McCartney singing lead and hey Jude is one of my fav beatle songs and one of there best ever.
Hey Emma. You should go read up on the history of the song. It was written for/about John Lennon's son.
That first piece of music was the theme tune to the show they are on.
David Frost. The guy who later interviewed Richard Nixon after the Watergate scandal was over, and nailed Nixon to the wall with he persistence and questions...
This is first time hearing Hey Jude? My God where or planet are you from???????
I live on the street where this was recorded.
I think a very vocally interesting song is ‘If I Fell’ from the Hard Days Night album. I adore the harmonies and their beautiful flaws. I think you’d enjoy it.
Emma, react t to Golden Slumbers, The Weight!
React to Because!
And Oh Darling!
I love this song. 😎
I remember well when it came out. Nothing like it…
word&music by Mccartney
You might like Paul's belting on Oh Darling from the Abby Road album.
react to Harry Chapin's ..Taxi.. live is the only way to listen.
Paul originally wrote this song to John’s son Julian, but ultimately changed it up to Jude…and as they say, the rest is history….
That's one of the great Kumbaya feel-good songs of all time
Beautiful song. Buonanotte gorgeous Emma 🌹
This was on TV on the David frost show on a Sunday night in 1968.
Me gusta cuando reaccionas a the beatles
Other popular na na na songs include Journey. Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin', Steam. Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye, Train. Drops of Jupiter, and Counting Crows. A Long December.
best song ever written, simple.
Luv a happy Emma.
Great point about their complete simplicity. Watch Peter Jackson's Apple documentary, they worked so hard to come up with something all 4 could agree on.
This was introduced by David Frost who was a huge national TV show host back then in the UK.
The first piece they played was David Frost’s theme tune that was previously only played by the regular orchestra.
Paul wrote song for John's son afterthought breakup of John's first wife
El Universo los iluminó ,nunca caerá su legado ,cantaron de todo para todo tipo de emociones ,únicos
I remember listening to this once on a crappy stereo with only half the speakers working. While this is one of my favorite songs ever, and great on its own. Can you imagine this song without those 4 notes from the orchestra at the end?
Thank you, Lord, 🙏 ❤
You are so welcome
When John Lennon made a face at Paul, I think he noticed that Paul had just sung the wrong words.
I always thought John and Paul were looking at each other because John wanted to sing harmony on the first line of every verse, but Paul always insisted he should only sing harmony on the first line of the last verse.
John forgot to sing second voice in that part of the song
Observations:
This is Paul, writing an optomistic song, about John's son Julian, after the breakup of John's mariage to Julian's mother - cool but also odd...
The band are quickly surrounded by an ethnically and age, diverse 'crowd' of people who are 'literally' within touching distance...
Although the actually music was, probably, from tapes - all the band kept in sync and contributed to the 'allusion' that we are watching a 'live' performance.
These guys were Pros!
❤
It's about John Lennons son how his son Julian didn't see his dad since the Beatles fame.paul McCartney wrote it on his way to see Cynthia Julian's mother
how old are you? hey jude is a classic
try Beatles come together song.
The Beatles make me proud to be a Scoucer ❤❤❤
Ahoj krásná Emmo, už jste slyšela píseň oh darling od Beatles? Ovšem v podání Diany Ankudinove. Neuvěřitelný zpěv.
Jude Bellingham
i wonder how emma would react to the hu?
More The Beatles song Reaction Emma....

Top 5rock singers of all time, it’s fucking Paul McCartney
🏆🏆🏆🏆
Please listen to the album called Ram
Well... You're listening to the greatest band of all time ever. Welcome...
Another victim of droopy Paul.. ❤
plss reaction dimas senopati hye jude
Hi Emma
Did I see some blushing and gushing going on 😊 😉
One happy lady atleast 🎉🎉🎉
Cheers mate 🦘🇦🇺👍
Please lisent to now and then is new beatles song
THERE´S A COVER BY WILSON PICKETT BETTER THAN ORIGINAL
crap band from Liverpool, the city of "look at me, I'm worse off than you" and ""who you looking at pal" before you get a scouse kiss
a little fake out at the beginning.
I wasn't a fan of this and their other Quirky hits. Like *Yellow Submarine* . It always stuck me as a weird direction for their music to go.
I'd put this one, up there on a par with *David Bowie's* The Laughing Gnome. Luckily for Bowie.. his music got better..
Whereas the Beatles and Paul McCartney's music got worse. Especially when he created the group *Wings* With his crazy wife Linda..
Very repetitive song
Brilliant.
Guys, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, time is short, as the bible says "now is the accepted time, behold, now is the day of salvation". Whoever believes in Jesus will be saved.
