Also I wanna mention that if u have lost that bracket which holds the flex cable connections then you won’t be able to get good results cause the bracket puts pressure on it that’s why it works fine
If this doesn’t work it probably means the lcd cable has to be replaced, this should work, it has worked for me, you can also try to push on the top right of the screen but be VERY CAREFUL to not brake the the screen
@@palmietteduquartier8330 I mean probably, but a replacement screen for a xr cost $100 usd and I’m finding prices for xr’s at $300 usd so I mean if you don’t wanna risk breaking it more you can take it to an apple store to see if they can fit it (unless it’s water damage) or just buy a new one bc it’s only $200 usd more than buying a new screen

there is a cut scene in 5:47, i also compare the fingerprints on the first lcd(not yet working) to 2nd lcd(working) it seems like its a new one. im thinking why he cut the video on 5:47 compare to 5:29 to 5:40 there is nothing but he didnt cut the video. it is only my opinion :)

Oh my gosh thanks. It worked! But i lost two screws and damaged and replaced my battery in the process. Not to mention it took 1 hour for me to remove the LCD and another one hour to get the home button wire connected. Hahaha

Did you use magnifying glasses to do all this. I found once I opened my phone it was all so tiny. I could barely see the screws
