Spent time with pi today and I can see the value. It’s incredible how human it sounds.
I don’t know why most todays intellectual think only in one dimension … great thing about him he is open minded and his strength is his way of looking at systems in a basic intuitive way…
Modest down to earth guy
Insightful inevitable. Very savvy entrepreneur.
Pi is pretty neat, and definitely has a distinctive, friendly conversational style. Although sometimes is strikes me as too Eliza-bot-ish.
I do look forward to it becoming more than just a toy. These advances Mustafa is talking about are in many cases already available in the cutting-edge systems.
❤
I tried to speak to Pi in German.
But it always answers in English.
But it claims to have answered in German.
It just told me German is one of the languages it speaks. Would making a different selection of voice make a difference?
Its about the text dialogue@@rogerdavies8586
No, making a different selection of voice makes
no difference@@rogerdavies8586
It's hallucinating hard! XD
He's a businessman. Just like Bill Gates was a businessmen. They're probably both good businessmen, so I'm happy for them, but gushing?
So, let me tell you this, Mustafa.
If you want to become something with your PI,
you have to put in a lot of effort.
I just used it and compared all inputs with the Chatgpt
running in parallel.
The disappointing result is: PI is (at the moment)
hopelessly bad.
It wants to teach me. It doesn't know anything
about itself.
It's just annoying.
I honor your plans presented here. The product
today is a class worse in terms of conversation
than OpenAI's.
Los of blah blah... much less substance that expected 😮
