@@kitty-yl9mk just bought mine here in Croatia. Important info for anyone using Mi home app on european server. In the app, Mi smart fan 1C is recognized as Mi smart standing fan 2 Lite. You can connect it without any problems, just diferent name
I have a lot Xioami product here at my place like air purifier, smart plugs , Lamp, router, intercom , rice cooker ,black version of that fan and a lot more lol. Sobra love ko xioami because it's cheap , minimalist and really good quality . Kilalang kilala nako sa Pyr lifestyle 🤣🤣

Thanks brotha!! They give you a mini screw driver and it’s easy to unscrew, just one screw at the bottom. :)

Maybe you can try checking if you got the right Xiaomi App or switching regions on the app itself. Worked for me on one of my xiaomi gadgets.
