Yes, love the content. You inspire me, may sound ‘weird’ but I just recently made 2. Both about BattlBox. My first was short like 20 seconds my second was like 5 minutes very brief & I sucked, posted it anyway. You’re Awesome! Thanx. Keep it up
Great video! I have the same cons which are the laptop going all the way to the ground which also makes the bag lean forward. BTW, just add a molle sunglass pouch inside the front flap! Bartact makes an inexpensive one in many colors.
I do like the bag, the color is def different. Great set up, under your laptop put a couple folded up T-shirts, not rolled, for cushion & of course you know a bunch of other uses for them, nice vid thanx
The foam on package deliveries can be cut to size and placed on bottom of bags. Low weight and free. I've also used in bicycle rear racks for protection and less rattle.
I love my Commuter 2.0 sling for basically all these reasons. The CCW pocket is very spacious, but yeah, I wish the main compartment had some padding on the bottom for laptops. I've added two medium Vertx overflow pouches, and some tactigami pew pew storage in the back, and another organizer. I like adding my own organizer ideas that I come across vs a bag being laden with it and having to figure out what I can do with it vs what I envision other organizers can handle. It ended up being a great solution for me.
Just subscribed to your channel because of this video, I've been using this bag as a work for a little over a year now and have been experimenting with finding the perfect balance of gear and this video gave me a lot of great ideas! Also, the zipper gets caught on mine too, keep up the great content!
I got mine today and it's discreet I even have my makeup bag in mine, lol so it can be useful for ladies as well. It's CLUTCH, it's CCW ready like I like.
I own this bag. It's a champion of a bag. The build quality can't be beat. The design is great for CCW. It takes a beating and in my opinion looks great once it has extensive wear.
I personally prefer my GoRuck GR1 Slick in 26L, it truly is a do everything pack. If you really need the exterior water bottle pockets, the the GWA Citadel is worth a look. Runner up on my list is The Brown Buffalo Conceal in 26L. That TBB, pack really flies under the radar, really high quality pack!
Great review! Very in depth and I appreciate how you discuss the features with real life applications from your own experiences. You sir, earned a sub from me. Keep up the great content!
i have a recommendation for you if youre looking for a travel light. look up the noctigon kr4 or the emisar d4v2 Dual channel led lights. you might like the style and functionality. there is a bit of learning curve to them but i think you might like the customizability.
Got the Gamut 2.0 a couple months ago, same color scheme and added the Premier armor back plate. Love the design of these bags but did have some stitching blowouts in the first month of daily carry use. Reaching out to Vertx to see if they will cover.
Love this bag. Buddy picked one up in the US a few months ago. Unfortunately no retailers that carry them here and delivery is ridiculously expensive through Amazon 😐
Marinex, thank you for your service and I like your videos however I’ve noticed something about a lot of your bags, they all have field note pads and none of them have ever been used. I would genuinely love to see a video where you field test one of those bags in a sim bug out or get home scenario. See how many of those items you do actually have a practical use for and see if it makes you reevaluate what you keep in a kit. I’ve watched a ton of these videos and while I was commuting daily to an urban area by train I outfitted a bag that was truly purpose built, it went through a few renditions but I found some of the things I thought I needed, I didn’t and some things I did need I didn’t have the first few times. A note pad was one of them and I’ve filled tons of them since I started carrying them with me. Again thanks for the vids, appreciate the perspective but let’s see you grab a bag as loaded and put it to the test.
Yeah I DEFINITELY am not testing my bags just because. These bags cost me cold hard cash and serve specific purposes. When I post a video on TH-cam, I'm showing a solution to a problem I had. If you need training, you need to look elsewhere. I train my family friends and myself. My field notes get used, when needed. But I'll keep it up. friend
@@MarineX I don’t need training, the stuff I carry gets used everyday, I know it’ll get me home. I just thought you might have a channel that’s different from all the other put gear in a bag to take it out and explain it. Hell I’d love to even see something like your EDC tool kit in action. Those knipex cobra don’t look like they’ve seen a single use, but maybe you keep your tools clean. And if that’s not your thing I get it man. Happy and healthy to you and your family.
I love my Vertx bag. I bought the Commuter years ago when they first came out. I liked back then how their "tactical" was subdued but still there. One day I will get a newer bag, I am eyeballing the Overland or Gammut for a get home bag... On the commuter I like how my expansion flap has to tie down that attach to the MOLLE. You can place a larger sleeping bag or a helmet in there, but exposed to the outside.
@@MarineX I also want to check out the KUIU 1500 pack. KUIU is prime gear up here in Alaska. Many guides require them for out of state hunters. I like that it has a full hip belt for a daypack.
Eh, after so many folks kept recognizing the brand as a CCW brand, though I never carry off body hahaha, was a bit annoying. I didnt think that would happen to me... I have a jansport style bag from maxpedition one of my deps gifted me, youd never notice it could carry a firearm, or armor. Its all good!
I think it's in the eye of the beholder. I filmed this bag while traveling and it's literally loaded with the gear I carry everyday. I thought that was apparent with the items I pulled out.
Kind of big. But it could. But ammo would be harder to see because the inside of the isn’t a bright color. I would look at a 5.11 Nitro bags or the Brown Buffalo Conceal or the Vanquest with the yellow frame.
Shade much? I definitely purchased with my own dough and have never received a free item on this channel. So pitching products that work with me on my TH-cam channel is crazy, than shame on me
Here goes another one that thinks getting paid to do videos isn't "keeping it real" If he got paid then good for him. That's the whole point of starting a channel. Getting paid eventually.
Yeah, I've never received a free item on this channel. A backpack may just be a backpack to you. You're allowed small minded opinions in my comments. I have no issues with that
If a backpack was just a backpack, you wouldn't be looking up reviews on this one! Fact is, he did an excellent job describing the backpack good and bad and his experience with it.
I love the 2.0 so much that i just tracked a 2nd one down in 2024. Ready Pack 2.0 is my perfect baggy bag, and they cut many features with the 3.0

I liked the Battle box unboxing. Great, clear video and well lighted. I couldn't hear you very well but I will keep watching
Thank you so much, Hopes & Dreams & Blessings
Winner, winner, chicken dinner! I gave me mine, for my birthday. Its fantastic!
Great video! I have the same cons which are the laptop going all the way to the ground which also makes the bag lean forward. BTW, just add a molle sunglass pouch inside the front flap! Bartact makes an inexpensive one in many colors.
I will definitely check the Bartact out. Probably life easier
Vertx makes great bags. I carry the sling 2.0 right now and have for probably 2 years. My next EDC will definitely be one of these packs.
The views dont reflect the content man. Great content and the subscribe was a no brainer

What a great Video- watching this summer 2022 and it is by far the best review and load out video- thanks so much and I just ordered it!!
I have purchased multiple Vertx bags. For EDC, the Ready Pack 2.0 hits all the marks 100%
I have a Vanquest Katara that I love but I'm looking for a bag that is not so "tactical" looking. I think you pushed me over the edge on this one.

Love the bag, I have it in multicam black. Great size, not too big. Love the fact that it stands on its own and the concealed carry in the back panel.

Worth checking out the Kelty Redwing series. They make a tactical version that is incredible

Battalion! That is an awesome pack bro how about the benchmade boost in my pocket . Thanks 🙏
I think that bag is a great all around choice. have you done sling/shoulder/messenger bags for EDC? seems like a logical next step.
I just went down the TH-cam rabbit hole on slings. That's next for sure.

will this work as a rangebag?
