Why do people always mention the location of the fight like it matters? Judges and referees decide fights. And in fights like this they're never local people. They're overseas people that the sanctioning bodies pick.

I think kambosos will have a good showing. He should do much better against the smaller size of loma. I still think loma will win, but the match up makes a potentially exciting fight

It's a much more favourable style match up than Haney. George will make a good account of himself and it will be competitive in parts... Loma's boxing IQ, accuracy and defense will really separate them through the later rounds

Loma is the gate keeper at 135lb but he’s still an amazing fighter his experience helps him a lot, there’s very few things he hasn’t seen in the ring, that these other fighters haven’t seen, adjustments mid fight can give loma the win against someone giving him trouble. You gotta ko loma if it goes to the scorecards it’s very hard to beat him unless they rob him.

The thing with a 36 yo fighter is… you never know when they’re going to get old overnight. Loma looked prime against Haney but at 36 hes old for a lightweight. At some point he’s going to get old overnight and lose bad, I doubt it’s tonight but it def can be. The other thing is I think he was going to retire if he beat Haney.

Agreed...and I definitely hope so. I remember how Pops and Jr. Kambosos vied with one another over who could kiss the Haney's rear end with more passion, just before the Haney-Loma fight. After all, the son's own legacy would come into a more positive light if the Haney who schooled him, similarly dominated Loma, which, of course, did not happen. Loma proved in that fight that he is still elite, levels above Kambosos.
Lomas advanced age is what gives Kambosos a chance. Plus he's fighting at home. So if it's close hopefully he'll get the decision.

Haney is a much bigger fighter than Kambosos. Was in his prime and how that worked out for Haney vs Loma?
Many feel Loma was robbed. Lomas age might affect him against the ELITE fighters like Haney Shakur Tank but it won’t be any issue for this fight. Old Loma is still better than these non elite fighters

I can't even imagine Kambosos getting the better of his sparring partners. He's a B level fighter at best with the swag of an all time great.The only way he beats Loma is to catch him with a clean shot that ruins him. George doesn't have the skillset to have sustained success. George can stand his ground OK, but he can't really go backwards or forward. I think the corner stops the fight after the 8th if George fights like a man. Wide UD for Loma if George fights to survive.

Any time two boxers get in the ring there’s a chance the underdog will win. There’s always the possibility that Kambosos will be losing rounds and suddenly land a lucky shot, or that a headbutt leads Loma to bleed like crazy and be unable to see Kambosos’ punches (as happened to Tszyu recently).
Anything can happen.
Either way I’m rooting for Loma and hope he wins by late stoppage.

If Kambosos can hurt loma early especially with a body shot he may be able to steal some rounds early before the late loma rally but…. Loma is probably still to good at this point. Depending what George we get. Brawler or boxer the boxer will get played with the brawler has a slight chance

Shakur doesn’t understand, Martin told us how most boxers feel. They don’t wanna fight him because they aren’t just fighting him. They are fighting the judges the refs etc to beat Shakur you have to knock him the f out cause the judges will give him the win almost no matter what. We saw it with Edwin. That fight was at best a draw. You are not going to knock Shakur out. The moment he senses you can…he will not let you get near. It would take a guy like Matias at 140 chasing him down NON STOP eating through Shakurs jab to get close to him and do that non stop until you clip him.
Tank won’t do that. Edwin couldn’t do it. Only these high motor punchers can and there’s only a few of those. Maybe Zepeda has a chance. We know he ll try
I want Loma to win, but Paul's take makes it awkward because Paul is more often wrong than not.
I think the big question is why isn’t the biggest cherry picker in boxing Tank David not fighting Loma, it’s just ridiculous that he is getting away without fighting anybody and still classed as a pound for pound, when he is nothing.
Not his biggest fan but objectively his resume is not that bad - Pedraza, Gamboa ( old ), Barrios who went the distance with Thurman, Cruz, Garcia. In the last few years he has fought some guys just not the very best who can actually beat him and people want to see him with.
Tank definitely isn’t regarded as p4p by anyone with an objective and realistic mindset. He’s beat up on guys that he brought up from smaller weights, he’s put a weight stipulation on Garcia and fought and old Gamboa that he couldn’t even finish who sustained an injury. He’ll get his money but his career has been a joke up to this point

He hasn't beaten any of the ones which are considered the very best except Garcia. But the others - Teo, Haney and Loma have all lost. Only Shakur has not.
There aren't that many guys that have a chance with him and yes he does not fight the ones most of us think can beat him. But he does not fight much worse than most of the others

Loma is fast but kambosos have timing and he hits harder a lot of harder than loma . So we ll see loma is old now

Why doesn’t the best fight the best in boxing expect everyone once in awhile? I wish the match making was more like the ufc. I get it, if you lose once in boxing you’re screwed which is stupid. If the best fought the best more often then boxing would be so much better. Until then most of the world will tune in to the UFC to get their fix of great fights with the exception of a fight or two in boxing!!
Big difference between them is boxing iq. Kambosos is technically sound, fast, and powerful but struggles with timing and range so I can see Loma exploiting that. Kambosos isn’t no easy fight for anyone tho with the hand speed and power he possesses he’s always in the fight
Speed is not an issue for Loma. Length and size are. He’s going to give Kambosos a technical class

Loma is the better more dynamic fighter by far which is why he can land cleaner shots more frequently. But if you solely watch them hit mitts or heavy bag u can see Kambosos is faster and hits harder.

We will find out on fight night who is faster. Kambosos couldn’t put hands on Haney but Loma def did. So anything regarding speed accuracy timing placement is for Loma not Kambosos. The power you can say that if you want. Loma has put guys down from head shots and body shots.
Kambosos dropped Teo but when was the last time he even showed power? I believe the Teo knock down was to the temple. That takes more placement than power
