I could totally see making a journal cover out that drying mat… adding floral fabric to the top of it….and sewing it on like a quilt style so you sew around the edges of a flower border so it emphasizes it on the mat and you could even go as far as to do a little slow stitch on it as well… oh the possibilities..add crocheted doilies parts to it as well.❤
The dish drying mat looks like it would make a good cover for a journal or book. Can hardly wait to see what you make😊

I see the dish mat as a journal cover. I love the alpha/number stamps. I didn't cut mine apart and just stamp them as one background stamp. Made some nice journal cards with it.

I love seeing what you can get at your Dollar Tree. The Dollar Trees in my area have none of those crafting items or planners. I just recently saw they had added a small section of the wallpapers. But I really wish they would get the items like you showed today. I look forward to seeing how you use them, especially the resins. 🙂
It’s so sad when they don’t sell what people want! It’s like the coin envelopes I had been looking for months without any luck and then finally found them…and never again! I hope that your DT starts carrying more crafting stuff for you!! 💗💗💗
Great haul! My Dollar Tree is always a bust when I go searching for what I see in DT hauls. 😐 I’m a planner girl but not in the typical sense. It’s a combination of to do’s, Bible reading, current projects, current events,weather and daily life…plus lots of stickers. 😬
I have seen the wall papers and stamps. I don’t usually use a planner, not sure why😄 I used a placemat from DT to make a journal cover. They are 100% Polyester and easy to free style sew with my machine. Those wall papers are beautiful and are easy to use as a cover. Look forward to seeing what you create with the drying mat! Ohhhhh I'm so glad you showed the inside of the journals, especially the yellow leopard cover. I probably would have skipper over them because I'm not a fan of the cover, but the pages inside are fantastic! I bought the alphabet stamps, too, but need to sit down with a paper cutter to separate the letters - they're pretty much all stuck together.
Love seeing your hauls and just wish I could find the same things that you find.

yes to the planning! I have the stamps & the mica powders. I saw a video once that mixed the mica powders into matte medium to make a sort of sparkly texture paste to use with stencils. I want to know what you're going to make with the dish drying mat. A journal cover?
I keep checking for the paper packs, they are amazing, haven't had them for a good while. Good buys I found were 3 sizes of coin envelopes, baker's twine, 9 different colors!, pearl strips, transfers, antique-y puffy stickers, a good craft glue dupe to art glitter glue.

I ❤loving Dollar tree videos lately. I have been loving the school supplies..I have been picking up cute print folders to re-do my my planners covers and the inserts… love watching your videos. I have seen the resin with molds and earlier they had the pourable resin..

Yes, I've used calendar pages in my journals. If they are thin paper, I glue them to another page for support.

Use it as a cover. You could use it with paint for a different effect. Cut it up and add dimension to a page.
Enjoyed the video. I would love to dry coffee/ tea dyed papers on the drying mat. With just a gentle press into the ‘waffle’ texture into the mat

I cook from scratch and so I used the mat put different scraps of material sewed on one side and use it for hot cassarole dish on my table Looks great and I have two sides to use.

The calendars that have the dark ink can be used for junk journaling. You can glue two pages together to thicken them

I was at at a local Dollar Tree yesterday, saw the resin and didn't get it! Love their paper packets but must have been sold out. Yes I have used calendar pages in my junk journals and the effect is awesome! Also found no ink pads. With that said, your videos send people running to Dollar Tree!
I'm a procrastator so planning doesn't always work for me. I meet all my deadlines but I work better under pressure, lol. I try to plan but never seem to keep up with it. However, I do have a list of must try crafts in my phone!

I stop at every Dollar Tree I find because they all carry different items than other locations. I am a card maker, crocheted, embroiderer, and junk/collage journalist. I don't do planners. However, I do a monthly calendar on my fridge dry eraser board. I'm retired and just not busy enough to need a planner lol

Wow! Those paper packs :57 are so cute! I have to get back to my Dollar tree and check it out. Although now that I've seen them opened up they were a little less cute. But I love that leopard print notebook with the yellow striped pages! That would be great for teaching kids to write and stay on the lines with their handwriting.

Hi Ingrid, those stamp pads can be hit or miss. I bought two and they were both dried out. Some people have bought them and they were fine.

I don’t use a planner. I live the concept just find it easier to use my iPhone calendar and also not add more weight to my purse!

The right pronunciation of the ribbon is "grow" grain the s' are silent. I think you're making a journal cover with the dying mat. I love the paper packs too. Some of the papers I've gotten were with plant particles in them not sure what they are called. Thanks for sharing and showing what's at DT

Love the wallpapers. I'm honestly surprised by the mica powders for resin. My daughter works for Dollar Tree, and she said they were discontinuing the resin craft line of items.

I added them to individual containers of clear gesso. Makes a pretty shimmery topcoat. I have another pack i want to add to spray bottles filled with rubbing alcohol to make my own mica sprays
I would be interested if that's good yarn for crochet. I have used calendars in journals. I wonder if the ink pads are good. I like the rubber stamps with numbers. My Dollar Store is small. No, I don't do planners. I use calendars, including my phone.
