Nice work. Lover your passion for using what you have available in the space you have available. Also fish won't breed if they aren't happy and healthy. Tank size has nothing to do with it. If you can keep a small tank healthy the fish can thrive and breed happily. Happy fish keeping if you are every in logan pop by Little Wardy's Pet and Aquarium.

Nice build mate, im slightly concerned about water ingress into that chipboard/mdf for the shelves but keen to see how it goes long term. Fast approaching 1k!

Hi Blake, thanks mate. Yip, agree I need to maybe look at the mdf. I am using it on all the bunnings racks and so far okay. But agree mdf and water are not best of friends.

Thank you for posting this video. Do you have a video that talks about the tank rack behind you? It looks like an industrial welded steel garage shelving unit. Thanks

Hi, in my earlier videos I go through the rack, the weight it can hold and where I purchased it.

Screw covers available in lots colours @ binning . May help or just black screws . Have u tired this heat cable for fish tank before ?? Keen to follow this project n see how it goes

Hi Cheve, yip, will get some screw covers. I have not used the heating cable, but have used heating "tape", so far the heating cable only running one length is only raising the temp. about 4 degrees above room tempreture.

I`m interested to see how this works out long term. My one concern with this project would be time needed for upkeep on 20 tanks?

Hi Daren, agree. I will see how it goes and how much maintenance I would have to do. If it becomes to much, then we move onto the next project. But very valid point.

@@TheUrbanFishkeeper I agree with you about pushing what is thought to be best practice, if we just accept what we are told we can never grow in the hobby. Another great thought provoking film UF!

I'd be way too worried about a shelf collapsing regardless of what they are rated for with a shelving set like that but good luck!

Hi Nick, agree. I am looking at some ways of reinforcing these shelves, maybe steel brackets. Also concerned about the shelves sagging.

@@TheUrbanFishkeeper Keep us updated both with how that goes and if your reinforcing efforts are effective.
I have a bench that's sagging a little but I've ordered some 150kg weight rated shelves to move my tanks onto that's coming in a week or two.

@@TheUrbanFishkeeper 2by 1 frame painted maybe a option if shelf do sag . Ur probably only having 20 kg per shelf
