@@solidkwon The Ocelot unit is easier to deal with than the End is.
One of the oldest and best known: In the original Mega Man, you can take out the Yellow Devil in seconds by firing the Thunder Beam at his eye, and then tapping select repeatedly, resetting the boss' hitbox and allowing the weapon to damage him again. This trick is so well known, the Mega Man Legacy Collection has the select button enabled solely for this game, so players can do this.
IIRC, one of the Mega-Man NES games, if you take out Saw Man before taking on Wood Man, then the Saw Blade is a one-shot kill. 🧠
First, it's Metal Man, not Saw Man. Second, Metal Man's weapon doesn't one-shot Wood Man, it one-shots Metal Man in the re-fights.

The Gandohar entry is actually the first game where you can do that. The 2nd game is where you fight that...prophetess?, The perky woman, whose name escapes me.

One of my personal favourites is the extremely simple way you can defeat the final boss, General Rykov, in the Predator campaign of Aliens Vs Predator 2. As you enter the arena Rykov comes charging at you in a combat exosuit, and he is quite difficult to bring down with the plasma pistol, since any weapon that deactivates your cloaking gives Rykov sufficient time to obliterate you. But, fear not! If you haven't used any of your remote bombs, because let's face it, they're basically useless throughout the campaign, you can cloak, hide in the distance and just use alt fire to throw them at Rykov like grenades. Since Rykov can't see you he will literally just stand there and accept this completely fatal bombardment. Winning!
Fallout 4: The Mirelurk Queen from the "Taking Independence" quest. Given the Minute Men's proximity to the game's start point, chances are good not only will this be the first Queen you encounter ever, but also by far the strongest enemy you've encountered up to this point, making her essentially the first boss. As difficult as she is, though, you can easily end the fight before it ends: After killing all the Mirelurks in the place, but before cleaning up the eggs, drop a whole bunch of mines in the spot where she emerges from the sea, and the Queen will be dead before she gets inside the fort.
It's not hidden anymore but I think using a Phoenix Down or X-Potion on an undead boss in the FF series just feels very satisfying
Phoenix Downs don't work on the Siren in her undead form in FF5.

The most fun part about the Krauser fight was actually finding out that you're supposed to use the knife. After dying a few time I was like "they fight using knives in the cutscenes, maybe I should try that". But he's too easy in the Wii version. When you waggle the Wii remote then you're auto targeting him with the knife, and when he's attacking you then you're already doing the same waggle motion that's one of two things used for the quick-time events used for dodging, and the other being pressing the buttons that you're already having your fingers on so you can mash the buttons and waggle the remote at the same time, and always dodge.
Do you have to shoot his legs first? I thought he shields himself.
No, he can't block the knife.
Mist Noble who is one of Sekiro's toughest boss can be made a LOT easier if you sneak up on him from above for a free deathblow, thereby taking out half his health. Makes an otherwise impossible fight manageable.
About the Kalle Demos fight... The Forest Water actually doesn't spoil when you're in the dungeon- the timer is paused, as if Link is in the place the water comes from. So, you can take as much time as you want clearing the dungeon and not worry about it.
As often as this channel has brought up how easy it is to finish off the final boss from Two Worlds, it’s amusing that they mentioned the wrong game.

By the time i got to Yu yevon in final fantasy X; Wakka one shot him for 100 times his health with a beach volleyball.
Radahn was a joke, I just summoned all my NpC pals and ran around on my horse and best him on first try! 😂

I always thought it was funny that you could kill the final boss in Gothic 2 with on simple spell scroll while all bosses before kind of were a pain in the ass
Dan from Xenogears, forfeits if you face-tank his Kamehameha by defending. He gets angrier and gives you a dress as well. Fei is a gentleman.
I like the spirit of the Two Worlds II one, and imo it should have been left in with a bonus message encouraging players to go back and lose like they were intended to in order to experience the full game.
I just really love the freedom to take out the bad guy early on if your skills are up to snuff (especially if it means mastery of the gameplay). Normally you play the whole game after he thrashes you, but you kill him early and end the game, or he resurrects early on and you get an immediate hint at what you'll have to do to make him _stay_ down. That added sense of freedom might not be that much in the long run, but it can do a lot for player agency, and really make them feel like their choices matter.
Look at MGS3, where you're can snipe The End while he's sleeping in his wheelchair or take out Revolver Ocelot (problem solved, series over).
Finding out that that dragon in paper Mario was a woman makes her dialogue in the game so much funnier. She literally begs for mercy by asking if Mario wants to smell her feet
And let's not forget Dr.Nakayama of Borderlands 2 in the Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt DLC who's secret weakness is trying to monologue while walking down some stairs...
Watching the bar chip away was really an experience I can not put into words, and once that will likely never be replicated again.

alternatively still for The End in MGS3, there's a part earlier on where the old man is still in his wheelchair, and you can pick him off if you're fast enough, just be warned that the wheelchair will explode once he is dead and will come flying at you and on higher difficulties will kill you, if you don't move fast enough. Kojima, am i right?

The exact method I used to kill Yu Yevon during my playthrough.
I wouldn't call it a 'genius' method in killing a boss, it's just incredibly fast. Even years later, I look upon this example of boss design with great shame, because Yu Yevon has immense menace built up around him, but after defeating Braska's final aeon, we are led to believe that the true mastermind behind Sin is a god tier threat to the world of Spira.
In reality, it's just a fight that you can't lose.
Another way to kill him is by unleashing limit breaks to outpace his automatic healing, which I think was meant to be the planned way to kill him to begin with.
Zombify + Phoenix Down/Arise is what you do if your patience has worn out, like me.

I never actually had trouble with yu yevon on FFX, now fighting Tidus father is another story ._. That fight is always a challenge
Fighting radahn was one of the most epic boss fight moments I have ever had, is he a pain to deal with? Yes...but when you and the boss are one hit away from dying...and you win as you both charge in for a attack! That is one epic boss fight...
I never fought Sin, I was at the end of the game, but was more focused on beating all the Monster gallery fights, and then I got GTA III and never got back around to finishing FFX. 😓
Another perfectly viable and cheesy Radahn strat is using the rotten breath miracle whilst atop Torrent while he is focusing on arena summons this will take two applications of the rotten breath and two rounds of arena summons however you can literally make him chase you as he dies to scarlet rot which seems odd as lore wise he should already be full of the scarlet rot but this is a great early game way to beat him or with the right applications of wondrous physik or talismans is a great way to beat him at rune level 1.
You can also do this if you stealthily go behind the mounted guard to the city. The rot will slowly kill him Thus you can avoid the encounter altogether.
@@magicsforce if you're talking about the draconic tree sentinel that sounds like a technique I found prepping for a RL 1 run that uses poison mist and a faith boosting talisman I didn't know that rotten breath could be used stealthily though that merits testing but yeah I love that you can sneak up on dude and ice him with what is essentially farts
Yup, that's how I beat Yu Yevon. Though I didn't spend the Phoenix Down, just laughed as it healed itself into oblivion every round.
I'd probably replace 10 and 8 with other, actual weaknesses; not cheesing and buffering, lol

Fun fact, dragon and wyvern aren't interchangeable terms for the same creature- they refer to two different mythical beasts.

Depends on the world. I Skyrim, those are dragons. In Faerun, the distinction is made that dragons have four legs and two wings while wyverns have their wings attached to their forelimbs.
btw last I checked the SPider Mastermind glitch has been patched out.
Regarding Elden ring, what ending are you talking about that you consider to be the 'true ending'?
You heard it here: marrying Ranni is the true ending of Elden Ring.
But Snake will walk out alive...the End doesn't kill you, he tranqs you and you get tossed in a cell if you lose.
Another cool thing about the RE4 Kauser fight is that it incorporates the story into the reasoning.
You had a quick time knife fight earlier which was unfinished, so it allows you to finish the fight with a knife.
Dethl, Link's Awakening. Dethl is what the final form of the last nightmare is called. What you are supposed to do is to shoot him with arrows, and I hope you have a lot of arrows. However, if you can hit him with a boomerang just one time, he'll die instantly.
Final Fantasy VIII, Abadon: A boss you face trying get into Esthar can be beat on the first attack by using a Phoenix Down, revive, or life. It's really anticlimactic.
I kept telling my brother that the knife was the most effective way to kill Kruser in RE 4 and for the longest time he never believed me. So I used killing Kruser with the knife as a flex on my older better at gaming brother.
Not sure it qualifies as a genius hidden weakness, but using the blood cocktail things to distract BSB in Bloodborne is a nice use of an item to make a boss fight a bit easier. Doesn’t really solve the splash poison mechanic towards the end of the same fight, you need Antitodes for that…

You are correct, IDK how this recycled boss from many of their lists was mislabeled for this one.
Not sure if this counts, but in the rematch with Catwoman in Batman Returns on Super Nintendo, you could actually get Catwoman in the corner on the right side of the room and pretty much beat her without her getting hit out of hit stun.
7:59 My sister tried this. I think she left the dungeon before fighting the boss since it can be hard to beat the entire dungeon in 30 minutes.

Also re2 remake using the knife against the tyrant at the end of the game as leon because if your far away it’s a one hit kill so staying close and using the knife is easy and quick. Also ada in separate ways (re4 original) knifing Sadler

I don't count the Capra demon, spidermech, Gandohar or radahn as Genius hidden weaknesses as those are unintended exploits as they are not hidden or on purpose, so this is only a top 7 not 10. I will not change my mind

There was. You had a QTE knife fight with Krauser earlier in the game that got interrupted.

It's time to retire The End from these lists. He's in so many it's becoming tiring. You even mention how well known the strategy is yet this is a list of HIDDEN weaknesses. 🤦♂️ yea the game doesn't tell you so it is hidden but it's sad that I can look at the title of a WhatCulture video and know immediately if The End will be on the list.
First thought when I saw this was “I bet The End is in this”. It’s really been done to death and this was something that people talked about almost 20 years ago. I killed him the normal way (after a long frustrating time) never tried the alternate method.
A lot of these aren't weaknesses, their glitches. Can't really call them hidden, I mean you wasn't suppose to do it at all due to lack of foresight of the developers side.
I am wondering who was responsible for researching the informations about Radahn and if anybody involved in making this video ever fought him let alone played ER.
The only correct thing that was said is that he’s an optional Boss.
Defeating him doesn’t give you the true ending since there is no true ending. It’s perhaps the one that you as the player believe to be the right one but that doesn’t make it any truer than the other endings.
Radahn also doesn’t end the fight with "one swing of his swords". Even less so with upgraded gear. He used to delete you until a bit after launch when they nerfed him but even then he didn’t swing at a character with upgraded gear once and called it a day.
And while his meteor move does do insane damage, it’s rather easy to tank this move especially after the nerf. Although granted, should you not prepare a few things that would oneshot most characters and builds.
Still, terrible research. Otherwise an enjoyable Video however.
The one listed for 2 Worlds 2 is actually for the 1st Two Towers game.

10 Video Game Bosses With Genius Hidden Weaknesses should probably be renamed to 10 Video Game Bosses With Cheesing strait. Hidden weakness meant it's plan by the developer. Some of the boss in the list, yes but not all.
Yeah they mostly just listed exploits. The Paper Mario one was intended but guess they had to fill the list somehow.
