Thankyou for doing a walkthrough on this game. This is my favorite game of all time. I think I've replayed it at least a dozen times! Now I get to watch and listen with it in the background on TH-cam!
I like how in a lot of fights you could've just power bounced and destroyed something in 1 or 2 turns but you used normal attacks to draw out the fights and give us a chance to see all the different attacks and dialogue the enemy bosses have. Also beating the final boss with Zess T's dynamite was a lovely touch.

If you're hiding the fact this is emulated, I can understand, but with the recent Switch announcement, that 'HD' tag and burying 'GameCube' at the bottom of the description also makes this playthrough appear conveniently capitilizing.
I'm surprised that Parakarry, Lady Bow, and Bootler were in the original version. But what about the others? Goombario, Kooper, Bombette, Watt, Sushie, and Lakilester? Will they appear in the remake version?
I noticed that you have a widescreen cheat that stretches the letterbox (the black bars), and not the HUD. What cheat code is it, and where did you find it? I've been looking for a cheat like that for a while. I could only find a cheat that stretches the HUD, which I think it looks ugly because everything else is in widescreen, but the HUD isn't, and if I use Dolphin's default widescreen, the letterbox cuts off at the sides and it looks bad.

Look at the comparison videos between that and the original. You don't have to completely change the game/gameplay in order for something to be a remake. It can be 1:1.

Technically, it was SwayNC who recorded the gameplay, and he seemed to go out of his way to avoid cheese strats

I noticed that you have a widescreen cheat that stretches the letterbox (the black bars), and not the HUD.
What cheat code is it, and where did you find it? I've been looking for a cheat like that for a while. I could only find a cheat that stretches the HUD, which I think it looks ugly because everything else is in widescreen, but the HUD isn't, and if I use Dolphin's default widescreen, the letterbox cuts off at the sides and it looks bad.

Look at the comparison videos between that and the original. You don't have to completely change the game/gameplay in order for something to be a remake. It can be 1:1.
