    I've been blogging for a while, but I'm only now starting an email list. The main thing holding me back is the tech aspect. I've been fighting with it for months and have just signed up with Flodesk so I want to get this right before I get too deep. Everything else has frustrated me beyond belief, but I've been convinced by many others that Flodesk is the way to go. So glad I've found your video, I think this might be just what I've been looking for.

      Flodesk makes the technology aspect of email marketing super easy. If you're looking for quality content - the first place I would start is repurposing blog content. Go look for your most popular blogs.

    loved your video- I have been sending out email, but would love to add current subscribers to a workflow but it is only letting me add those "new" to a list

    I understand how importnt it is to move customers off social media and into emails to help conversions rates. I have only just started and I have no experience in marketing of website/email design but Flordesk has been really helpful. I want to grow my subscribers but it's how to effectively move them from SM to website I find tricky

    Hi Amanda! Thanks for the video! Is there anyway you can turn an existing Welcome email into a workflow?

      Yes, you have to go into 'edit' that email. Mark it as a 'favorite' with the heart symbol on the left-hand side and then create a new workflow. Start with an email from scratch and then click into 'my favorites' on the templates.

    Is it possible to add the email recipients name to the subject line? If so, how can that be done?

    I got the Flodesk and started my emails. Watched your video. For this topic on the workflow, I have created an email to hit all my current subscribers to my weekly blog and my current virtual class reminder. However, I still am having trouble. My 2 weeks of email when published is not reaching out to my subscribers. Can you please let me know what I can be doing wrong?

      I would triple check that you are sending it to your full list and that it is scheduled or sent. You're able to set up draft emails, so maybe you haven't finished the full step of sending it? Good luck and congrats on joining the Flodesk family - I know you'll love the software!

    Can you add in another Workflow email after you're started the Workflow? And people who are halfway through the Workflow will still receive it? Or will they only receive what you had in your Workflow once they signed up? I'm asking this b/c I don't have all of my Workflow information yet! I only have the first 2 steps - welcome / please register and here's an offer. Thank you

      From my understanding of your question - yes, you can add another email to your workflow. As long as those subscribers are above that email that's been added then they will receive it. If they're below that email (further along) than no, they won't receive it. Hopefully that makes sense.

      @@carrylovedesigns I hit publish and my emails aren't sending...yes the workflow matches the segment of my opt in..and i've even changed the email subject line just incase that's triggering it. I'm lost. Any tips?

      @@OliviaG Three questions that may sound silly. 1) is the workflow “turned on” and not paused? 2) are you on paid account (and not free trial)? 3) does your workflow have a trigger set up?

      @@carrylovedesigns Hey! 1)Yes workflow is turned on (aka published) 2) Yes, I am on a paid plan & 3) Is a trigger the time delay option? I've tried doing a one minute time delay and then even cancelling that bc I want it sent asap and then there is an email attached after that part that allows me to send a thank you email/put in an email subject line, etc. When I do a test email it works but that's the extent of it.

    how can you tell if your subscribers are opening their 2nd, 3rd emails in the workflow?

      If you go into the 'Workflow' state and hover over the email it should tell you.
