I have a 500 classic a brilliant machine, retro looks ,modern electrics , My commuting machine and tourer at the weekends. Perfect for the Scottish lowlands.
@thefuzzybiker171 I know mate. By the way, I'm wearing a Baxter's Tshirt. Only one on England I reckon? 😄 I got heated grips fitted to my back last autumn. Bloody God send. I've done a couple of decent length trips on my classic. Loaded up. Worked like a champ! Beautiful bike. 😄
G’day Mr. Fuzzy Biker. I am over the moon to be able to announce I have just purchased my beloved RE Tribute 500 back😁👍. In a time of weakness I sold her earlier this year, recently I found her in a dealership not too far from me, with only about 9 kms more on the odometer than when I sold her!! I am fortunate enough to own both the RE 120 anniversary model interceptor & 120 anniversary Continental G.T. Now getting my Tribute back completes the collection. There is something very unique & special about these bikes. Ride safe mate🏍👍😎….. P.S… it’s only money $$$, buying her again has cost lots of $$, however I believe there is more to life than $$ in the bank🤷🏻♂️🫣😂😂.
Good on ya mate! Aren't they just fantastic motorcycles! I've got two Classic 500s, an iron barrel Bullet and a Super Meteor and I love them all. So good you got your bike back, nice one 😎

Great fun!
Did you say overhead valve ? As opposed to overhead cam. Whichever is the case it sounds awesome ❤
Yes, overhead valves, the cam is below the piston in the case. Beautiful. Wahoo!
It's a pushrod engine, old school 🙂
@@felixVanDiemenyes pushrods and hydraulic lifters !

Amazing! To be able to find and acquire an old steed like this again, especially with such a limited number of new Km is just wow! Wahoo!
