So glad you finally have some answers. Praying the meds help bring the Addisons under control. Thank goodness you kept pushing for answers. Praying for Ted 🙏🙏
Jesus Chloe. I am so sorry to hear this update, what a rollercoster you've been on lately. I felt this. All of this. My beloved whippet, Storm, suffered with heart disease from a young age too (diagnosed aged 7 and he managed to keep ticking till he was 17, I hope that gives you some hope at least). I am sending you all the love and light I have, and keeping everything crossed for you and for Ted. If you ever want to talk, ping me a message (either here or on IG). Keep your chin up gal, love to both you and gorgeous Ted x
My Holli has Addisons and had issues with her legs initially and they didn't pick up on the fact that she had Addisons until she went into crisis and was rushed into emergency. Honestly didn't think she was coming home with us again but thankfully we got lucky with a vet who suspected Addisons and started treating her for it immediately before waiting for the tests to come back. It took about a year but once they got her on the right dose and frequency of Zycortal she was like a new dog. It was heartbreaking to think she'd probably been suffering from Addisons since a pup but we'd only ever known her as a sedate dog so didn't really have anything to measure it by. She's certainly not sedate now lol, She'll be 14 this year and still runs around like a puppy. I hope Ted is feeling more himself now and has the same success with treatment for his Addisons as Holli's had.
Ahh, I'm so annoyed with myself. I nearly messaged you to ask if he'd been tested for Addison's. Wish I'd trusted my gut instinct. Fingers crossed the meds help him ❤️
Nooo don't feel bad, I'm assuming if you know about Addison's you know it's so nonspecific, I hadn't connected all the dots between his symptoms. Thank you so much, thankfully I'm already starting to see snippets of the old Mr Ted ❤️❤️
I'm with the charity DogAID, they provide jackets. Only ADUK dogs would have that patch I'd assume. You're valid either way, whether you owner train or are aduk :)

Me too! Already starting to see more life behind those eyes, its glorious to see ❤️ thanks as always Catherine.
Thank you for updating us on Ted despite how difficult it must've been to recount everything. Praying all goes well 🙏🏻
Thank you for the prayers. Not the easiest video for sure!! But onwards and upwards ❤️
Bless poor pup. Gentle hugs for both of you
