Congrats! We met you in the Berry Islands in January 2020. Our plans were to go to Nova Scotia from Louisiana, but were turned back at the border due to Covid. We did sneak into Canadian waters circumnavigating Campobello Island, then reclaimed Machias Seal Island for the Acadians! We got 10,000 miles under our keel and had a wonderful trip. Looks like you did as well. best of luck, fair winds, and following seas!

I live in Daytona Beach so if you need someone to check on your sailboat just let me know. It sounds like you may have someone doing video walk around already. Just wanted to offer to help.

Good episode!! Hope to see you 2 back at it soon!! I really like your channel and the dynamic between you 2 and the calm laidback personalities you both seem to have. Just a thought about your Balachandra while she sits in the hard. Have you either already done so or possibly thought about putting some fans below deck that could run off solar or 120v if u have a power source. Then there would be air circulating while u r gone. I could be wrong but that may go a long way towards helping to prevent mold growth... I know it's different but while my boat Chop Sticks 😎⛵🥢 is on the hard in Michigan during winter storage, I am fortunate to have ready access to a steady 120v power source . I have 2 inexpensive fans that bought from Walmart that run continuously circulating air October- May... thats all i use and I have not had any problems... of course its not Florida heat I am dealing with either.. Wishing u 2 well !!!

Thanks, yes we considered it. We do have a marine dehumidifier running inside as well. Fans would be ideal however i'd be worried about them getting wet or starting a fire. We have a through-deck solar fan

Sounds good. I can't see anything stopping you guys. Best of luck.
How about some videos on sailing in the Bay of Fundy with those insane tides. Surely a couple of sailing celebrities could walk down to the dock and hitch a ride. (I have this goofball idea that everything is normal onboard until... here it comes... and the boat leans over 60 degrees until the tide comes back in. I've camped on a hill overlooking the bay. For me it didn't seem like the tide went out so much as the bay just turned into a huge mud flat. Amazing province. I bought crab on the dock for 60 cents/pound. We'd stop at parks and boil them up for three days offered some to the Canadians - not one of whom would eat them. One couple said, "No. But we'd like to watch you eat them." And they did )

We sailed right accross the bay of fundy twice. The first time was taking the boat home from St John NB where the tide changed by about 30'! We tied up on the downtown dock there and woke up 30' lower than when we went to sleep- amazing thing! Great tip, we can definitely cover that.

Hey we were watching your video and noticed that our Tayana V 42 is your boat neighbor. We are heading back to green cove in six weeks to start working on Kaizen. Let us know if you want pictures or video of her while we are there. Enjoy your time with family and friends! Love your videos.

Leaving next summer to head down south and then over to the Bahamas for the winter season then we were thinking about sailing to Nova Scotia for the 5 months we need to reset our ohip again to set sail south and onwards to Panama Canal. Is this a feasible trip to undertake? What route would you take, coastal or off shore? Then what time of year is best to leave Nova Scotia to head south! Great videos!

It does help if you own the right boat, no way in hell would we leave Windora in Florida or the Caribbean over hurricane season. She's far to valuable and no insurance could replace her, if it was the right boat you would sail it home. As that was what we did when we were in Nova Scotia in 2019, have a guess where home is. There is a path for you to follow, keep looking⛵🌍⛵🌏 Phil
