In this video, Rebedding the V-Berth HATCH - Cruising Sailboat Refit Continued, I re-bed the v-berth hatch. We have Balachandra moved into the marina work yard where I can have access to power and water and wherer there is an environmental drop-sheet underneath the boat for doing bottom work. Once in the work yard I proceed to clean the entire outside of the boat.

I do boat repair and that is completely acceptable with a good result. Life seal is an amazing material to work with and black. 5200 is mental. Life seal is way more flexible, and a companionway hatch pos 45° is the perfect application.

🇨🇦 cool you are on the hard next to a Yankee Clipper 41 - my parents took us (4 kids) sailing for a year from Toronto to the Bahamas 🇧🇸 in 1977/78 !! One of THE best years of my life, I'm 60 now and seeing that boat in your background has brought back many great memories !!! Glad to see you are working on Balachandra.

Boat is starting to take shape! I have been interested in your feedback with regards to the Total Boat products, since you mentioned them while in Nova Scotia. You've always been very transparent with your opinions. I said to my bride, 'if Dan likes them, then we will give them a shot."

Thanks! I research everything and talk to a lot of other cruisers before I try new products. A LOT of people in the US go with total boat over west system and evercoat, etc. The main difference is price - so i keep hearing
