Joshua Simmons something bout performing actions on someone lol jut pisses me off because when people see something they aren’t familiar with they don’t like it.
Had a similarly odd experience to Weston in that board game story. Got yelled at by a random stranger in a Dortmund shop near the stadium for buying a beer made in Gelsenkirchen (where Schalke plays). I actually thought I was in danger for a few moments.
I watch Lakers vs clippers and fans are hugging each other and Laughing and having a great time. All I can think to myself is that could never happen in a London derby vs Arsenal and Spurs. Mental
There is definitely hostility between lakers and clippers fans, especially this year. Definitely not as bad as a London derby though. However, Yankees and Red Sox games are extremely hostile.
Most altercations in sports in America happen in American Football games and even then, it’s nothing like the derbies and other rivalries in Football. I mean the Cowboys/Eagles rivalry would be intense to the average American but it’s nothing compared to something like Milwall/West Ham. Back in the day, you did see many bad confrontations in the college game but that’s died down and now it’s tolerable. That said, California teams don’t like each other lol
The El Traffico fans have a better rivalry than the clippers lakers fans, I used to see people wear both bball jerseys back in high school. The LAG LAFC has already had some good derbies and the fans can get pretty abusive even tho it's only 2 years old, just watch their playoff game last season
Stella viura because in Europe football isn’t just a sport. It’s our life and it’s something that defines who we are. In America when your team loses 4-0, 5-0, 6-1, or 7-0 it’s not a big deal because football is just a sport to you but when it happens in Europe (especially against our rivals), it would traumatize us for months.
bro ur tweaking u got everything backwards lmfaooo for people in america hes a lord of the game anywhere else in the world he not really anybody lol sure he plays for shalke..

the us needs to invest in football more, and they can become a juggernaut. if some of the athletes that end up in basketball or american football, play football, they could really be good
yea I saw this with a personal friend growing up and it actually made me wonder the same thing. I had a friend in the 4th grade who was crazy good in football, he would score multiple goals against us, do bicycle kicks, do headers, alot of potential for a star striker only in the 4th grade, got better and more creative every year, but once he got into middle school he got scouted by the coach to start playing in the American-football team as a linebacker and then a QB in H.S, because he was fast- he was smart-creative, truly a natural athlete, but he couldn't develop his american football skills as he could with football due to crappy coaches Now he is your typical 22 ex-jock who doesn't even go to college just works a regular job, and had his athlete career basically throwned to the trash as he decided to just play for another typical american high school How many youngsters do we have like that in the U.S., where we have kids with tremendous potential and talent but have so many other sports not only that we introduce to them but we prioritize for them. While other countries would of instantly scouted a kid like this and put him into a youth group like Ajax or somethiming along those lines we tell them they're better off playing american football, if they're tall theyre better of play basketball. U.S really seems like they just want to do their own thing in almost every aspect that we choose to not purse the competitive sport of the world to show the world how much more different we are
Nemo The Glover When I was younger. I would score multiple goals I knew how to dribble change directions easy and create and open space from my teammates. I wanted to play football ⚽️ growing up but when I was about 15 that’s when the pay to play wall hit me and family couldn’t afford for me to be in a proper academy so I had to quit football.
@@Mazrati I had a similar story man. I grew up being a defender/Midfielder, playing with guys 6-8 years older than me (My youth bracket competition thought I was too "good" to play with their boys, To some it not be to surprising, but to those active in the game will know it's a bit surprising that I was the only freaking 6-7 years old defending & playing with 14-15 year olds in official leagues, while the kids my age played in their own leagues wth ) Once my parents got divorced(around 10 years old was the last time I saw quality games) I could no longer play since my mother couldn't afford it the extra expense of a kid playing a game Sure you can play for free, football really is free ! But how good do you think you'll get from playing with the same local-players in your local park or neighborhood, when compared to a kid who played across U.S.A or even against international youth teams by the age of 16? unless you're completly 0.1% raw talent you'd be dramatically alot less skillfull. Look at our U.S.A Team, sure they play great! and they plah full time! but even then they might not be as strong because most of them probably didn't get youth training anywhere close to a foreign countries youth program to be properly trained, scouted be put in quality ACADEMY'S/leagues with players your level, and move up in the hierarchy takes either money or a lucky roll with a lucky family willing to give you a chance Who do you think funds the uniforms, the trips, The goverment ? the love for football ? The lucky roll in both a scout finding you and a team fully offering to pay all your expenses is a roll of it's own, but the lucky roll in your family is also important. A problem some may see, is some parents not being okay with letting go (Apperantly my mother told me this lol, I got scouted by the local's city youth team program when she was still married to my dad(Releatively not that big of a deal in big citys in u.s.a) but one of the conversations they had with her was that I wasent going to have much time at home, it was going to be alot of practice time, so yea- she said no) If you're a poor family in a 2nd-3rd world country you're alot more acceptable with eitheir not seeing your kid for months at a time or only moving out of your hometown to see them have their talent pushed and only seeing them for a couple of hours a day In U.S.A is a lot tougher to convince a 'poor/really low income' family to move outside of their state because a scout saw potential in their kids playing, or for them to sacrifice time with them as they have to spend time practicing. Specially football For some reason familys are a bit more accepting for a sport like American Football lol but not this football
He’s 100% right, the USMNT has the most talented team in concacaf, this is the era. They just need to get the games together, all the best players still haven’t even played a single game together due to injuries, clubs not letting players, and dumb coaches cough Gregg cough
It seems like triumph is possible. But take a look at the some of the Mexican squad Jimenez (wolves) Corona (Porto) Lozano (Napoli) Herrera (Atletico de Madrid) Guardado (Real Betis) Carlos Rodríguez (Monterey, 3rd place club world cup) Erick Gutierrez (PSV) Edson Álvarez (Ajax) Nestor Araujo (Celta Vigo) Some of them have little play time, but the point is Mexican squad seems more experienced, and talented you might say. Also Mexico is pretty good in U-17. Lots of young talent Mexico has.
Herculez Gomez kind o felines like he’s stuck in the losing Klinsmann Era and he played in the Mexican league. We haven’t seen the brand new USMNT play Mexico. I don’t think it’s fair to have them say that especially since all these kids are getting paid millions to play in the biggest UCL teams. I think most importantly the gates have been opened for European teams to finally accept the potential that young American players have. I don’t think this is a “golden generation” I think this is a new era in the USMNT.
