Climbed Stone Arthur on our last day in the Lakes in August. Got an incredible day and some of my best photos ever with Grasmere and the central fells all lit up in sunshine with fluffy white clouds in the bright blue sky. A great short walk with massive rewards. Glad you confirmed the lower top was the summit because we wondered when we reached it if it wasn't the higher ones but the Mrs and Son had had enough by then!
Brilliant stuff 👏 it’s a great little fell for all but really good to get young kids out on. Glad you enjoyed the day and had great weather for it 👍 thanks for watching and commenting means a lot. I’m definitely heading back to stone Arthur for a wild camp ⛺️
Yep, I did the same last summer, did the Fairfield Horseshoe and missed out Stone Arthur, so going to have to go back and do the in and out, although I may add in Alcock Tarn just because I have never been there, cheers Alan
It’s a great in and out Alan 👍 I’ve spotted a great little wild camping spot I’ll be back to also 👌🏼. I’d definitely do it again I’m not the biggest fan of the in and out as I like the longer stuff and bagging multiple Peaks in a day but really enjoyed this one 👍. Thanks again for watching and commenting mate means a lot 🙏
Can i recommend Carn Liath in the cairngorms. You can view the cairngorm from the south it's absolutely majestic. Let me know if you want to wild camp it if you are up to Scotland and ill show you
Sounds amazing mate. I’m definitely hoping to get up to Scotland at some point I’ve only been to play golf or go sightseeing in the past. Never been hiking or wild camping. I’ll 100% be up for that and will get in contact before hand 👍 thanks for watching and commenting means a lot 🙏
Lovin this pal!!!!!!! ❤❤
Really enjoyed this walk 👍 surprised me a lot
Thank you, I enjoyed watching this video.
Thanks for watching and commenting 👊🏼 means a lot. Lots more walking and wild camping content coming soon 👌🏼.
A great hike and harder than it looks from the ground up (or from other fells). Thanks for the encouragement, support and fruit pastilles :)
