      Perhaps the reason why tomb raiding had to be taken over by powerful foreign interests was to ensure the protection of and access to all of what is humanity's most precious sacred symbolism, the high spirituality these works of art reflect and the guiding light it continually shines on our greater human story. Not to mention the advertising foreign museums and exhibitions provide for Egypt's multimillion dollar tourism industry.

    I ask how did this Station come up with the term " MET" was it derrived from the original name of Egypt before invasion? I think its resonated it was called ancient KEMET? This is only a nano compared to the TRUTH..thanks dears...beautiful Art

      Met is short for Metropolitan, the Met's full name is the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

      Not in the wild. Wild lions in Egypt all went extinct 150 years ago. There are still a handful of wild cats but no lions in the wild.
