I don’t understand how the gimbal will just stay in place when you position it at those weird angles. My camera doesn’t look like it’s leaning to any particular side but it doesn’t stay frozen like it does in the video when he moves it. Any tips are much appreciated!
The base plate is huge and under certain positions, WILL hit and SCRATCH the joystick part.The gimbal is especially prone to hitting the base plate when switching between upright and low angles.
Zhiyun App(especially the Android version) has room for functionality improvements, such as pitch angles, instant display of zoom multiples, instant filters, and special effects processing. In particular, the current "slow motion shooting" function of Android App is not effective, and there are no iOS version of the filter features that need to be improved.
I have a panasonic G9 and I like to use my Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmar 100-400mm optical zoom lens for filming nature far away. It's a fairly heavy lens, do you think that combo can be balanced and held up by the Crane 3 when the zoom is fully extended? It's max payload is almost 10 lbs. Or would I need to add a cage and counter weight on top of that to achieve it?

Hi, currently with Lumix S1 and 24-105 I can't calibrate the roll axis. If I tilt the gimbal to the right and to the left it always returns to the center. Everything else is ok for the other aces. Could the little fluid movement be due to this? Given my configuration I set the engines to high, but I didn't change any parameters related to pan, roll and tilt. Thank you in advance.

Hi - I am finding this product set up really frustrating. I am trying to balance my camera on the gimbal. If I unlock the very top latch (tilt axis?), the camera can balance facing forward but does not balance if I turn it on its back. The instructions seem to contradict each other during this step. Dennis Reyes I’d recommend getting an additional handle that goes between the gimbal and the tabletop tripod mount (using the 1/4 20 screws). SmallRig makes a great one (“SmallRig Universal Gimbal Handle” on Amazon/B&H). The two built-in mounts are mainly made for their own phone holder and don’t seem strong enough for a full monitor setup, long term. A handle will allow many more mounting points and they are much more durable.

Hi, my footages seems to have horizontal drift (roll axis drift tilt) everytime I use it ( I did the balancing and stuff already) Is this the gimbal hardware problem itself? Or What settings should I exactly do ?
Does anyone else have an issue with their base plate sliding and not sticking? I cant tighten the screw any more, so i have to put gaf tape to be able to keep the camera in place without sliding. (not a big camera or lens. Sonya7iii, with 24-70 lens)

When adjusting the plate, leave the camera pointing straight. With the other til adjustment, have the camera pointed up.

All you really need is a Magic Arm :)

Hey there! Twist the mounting lock a few times around and it will begin to tighten. Do this without your camera.

What lens? I assume you know you need either a prime lens or if you balance with a zoom - leave the zoom alone!
