Wudijo, could you explain what are odds when tempering/mastercrafting criticals, I've reset masterworked item 6 times and it crits on main stat 5 times in a row and not on Dodge, or temper stats which i need.
Enchanting is the reason I’ll end up quitting this season. Been loving the season overall, but I’m well into endgame now with a solid build. I can NOT get affixes I need to roll at all, and I’ve been trying so hard that I’m out of angelsbreath and am being forced to go farm Helltides for an hour or so at a time to have a few re-roll chances. When items have like 25 things they can roll, you only get 2 options per roll, and they’re weighted, it just feels too unreliable to be enjoyable in my experience. For example, I need +ranks to envenom on my neck, and I haven’t seen that affix a single time all season despite seeing hundreds of legendary necks and trying to enchant it
Can you even get a attack speed on two-handed weapons? I've seen some people saying you can't get it anymore cuz they changed it from the PTR but I haven't heard anything officially. And I haven't got it on a single two-handed weapon
I feel pretty confident in saying NO, from the thousands of 2 handed swords I've looked at. Unless some class specific weapons can that don't drop for Necro.
Finding cool down or armor or lucky hit to apply vulnerable on a ring or armor is the bane of my existence. Letting the loan trying to re-roll it.. also tempering keeps breaking my items. A refuses to give me berserk damage and just keep giving me damage while using wrath of the berserker. Like five rolls back to back just the same temper stat over and over again. When there's only three to choose from I still get the same one over and over and over. I don't know if it's busted or they just need to give us like a few more rerolls like 10 in total because it's ridiculous how many times I get the same one for like four or five rolls in a row. I bricked I think like four weapons back to back that's how bad it was. I still use them till I can find another one and actually get the rolls I wanted even if they were crap rolls. It's just infuriating
Give up on the Lucky hit to apply vulnerable man. I changed double swing rune to apply vulnerable every hit, and added relentless berserker aspect to keep up my zerking. That said, I did find a ring with +2 fury per kill and 20% chance to apply vulnerable on lucky hit if you still need one.

Hey guys, I finally got +2 golem chest. I spent 80mil (which was all my gold) to try to master work it and get that bonus. Is that even possible? Can you get that 4th bonus roll on "+2skil" affixes?
It’s still impossible to find a good amulet in season 4. Getting a 2/3 is rare, rerolling for that third stat is extremely expensive, and if you brick it, you’ll have to wait forever until you get another one that’s worth using. I’ve upgraded the rest of my gear pieces 2-3 times in the last few days, and I’m still using a ehh amulet with a busted temper
Awesome. So now I have to go back to inspecting every single item for rare affixes, rather than just keeping anything with a greater affix and vendoring/breakingdown the rest. SIGH. WEN LOOT FILTER?
They need to reduce the enchanting cost overall. It is ridiculous. I get having rare affixes, but in no universe should some roll between 4 and others roll between like the whole list. Enchanting has been the only thing making me not want to continue playing season 4 and that's sad.
Another solution is to leave rarer affixes like +skills or CDR (the bane of my existence) to the tempering system or even add a system to add something to your 4/8/12 masterworking to add a rare affix rather than just crit one.
My biggest tip for not spending gold is literally do not upgrade gear unless it's for a capstone. I'm not even in wt4 yet with close to 50 million before I started doing nightmare dungeons. I'm almost level 60 and getting ready for the wt4 capstone so I'll spend about two million re-rolling more than likely.
All you need for the capstones is to Temper. It is practically free and you can add a ton of flat damage increase. Do it on all the offensive slots and it will add a ton of damage to any build at the lower levels. You can also add a ton of flat health and armor increase. Makes moving to wt4 so easy its insane. I made the jump to wt3 at 35 and wt4 at 55 on two characters now using this strat.
Its extremely brutal to try and enchant for a rare affix. Not sure why they did that. Just very annoying. Forces you to run whispers. People have different awailable gametime. Dont want to spend all of it finding gold. That is actually the result.
Dropping stuff that is generally good is amazing for the early game and feels really good. But having uneven reroll chance is super unintuitive and very frustrating. Most people don't watch videos like this and have a huge disadvantage.

I'm working on my 4th 100 doing sorceress this time and gold is so dry 😭
yea no prob with veiled crystals lol
@@KevJaques yeah I've got thousands of those now
Forgotten souls too I'm sitting at 2300
I just spent 35mil tryna get cdr 😔 if only i saw this slightly sooner
It’s still impossible to find a good amulet in season 4. Getting a 2/3 is rare, rerolling for that third stat is extremely expensive, and if you brick it, you’ll have to wait forever until you get another one that’s worth using. I’ve upgraded the rest of my gear pieces 2-3 times in the last few days, and I’m still using a ehh amulet with a busted temper
Wudi saving us from wasting Gold by spending 11 Million as a showcase
yea that is a good showcase as it immediately proves its a sinkhole
All enchanting rolls should be even chance imo
Grab all yellows an sell them... throw all Reds in the box to go tru later an sell all uniques basically
Wasted 80 Mio trying to get CR on a Helmet. Impossible. So sad, since it had a greater affix which I really needed.
I hate tempering, I bricked my almost perfect amulet!!! :(
I would say just sell all your best gear instead, and then save your personal Tempering for the slightly worse ones you have🤷♂️
Overall great vid Wudi! I wish I watched this before trying to roll CDR on a helmet.
Always temper first in my opinion. It's free and if it bricks you will save tons of gold. Enchanting first is risky.
I found gambling for equipment with skill rolls on it then work from there
Great video, thanks. i have been carefull with gold, so far never ran out and never farmed, and still have 70m. grinding my second character to 100.
We need D4.DB like POE.DB…
Its extremely brutal to try and enchant for a rare affix. Not sure why they did that. Just very annoying. Forces you to run whispers. People have different awailable gametime. Dont want to spend all of it finding gold. That is actually the result.
it feels like we still need loot filters to get those rare and ignore the crap
Dropping stuff that is generally good is amazing for the early game and feels really good. But having uneven reroll chance is super unintuitive and very frustrating. Most people don't watch videos like this and have a huge disadvantage.
Yup that was me I have waisted millions of gold having no idea this was a thing.
Plus it puts the endgame item search back into a spot where some gear slots have 99%+ junk drop if rerolling for desired stats is impossible.
Loot filter still needed.
OMG totally forgot about enchanting, been playing hard mode to 100 without enchanting my gear
Honestly save your gold other than maybe the first 2-3 rerolls. It's not worth it until later with an endgame piece.
Doing two whispers for a reroll - peak gameplay...
I have 200m gold. The best way to aquire gold is helltide ritual and sell everything except uniques and greaters.
@@Cheese_Head94 RPGs have always put a certain emphasis on grinding for power. I can't for the life of me figure out why so many have come to Diablo 4 just to bitch about having to grind. this game is in no way, shape, or form difficult when it comes to acquiring power. I just can't understand why so many people are bitching.
@@pieking4you’re not very intelligent then
@@pieking4 I agree completely. It’s the new generation of gamers that want instant satisfaction with 0 work. Reddit is also a place they should NEVER look for advice on their game. Reddit is full of discord mod type losers that just sit on Reddit and complain all day. Also most YT just love trying to be developers in their videos and hope the devs cater to them. We need to go back to the days of you play the game they made.
@@pieking4the issue Imo is not that you have to grind. The issue is that you have to grind way more low lvl activities than end game one to gear after +8 masterworking
The best design is to give you the best items in every slot the moment you are in tier 4.
Nope
So thats why I can't get CDR yet interesting
meanwhile yesterday i wasted 75mil rolling fuckin crit chance on a ring
Yes add that into the FIND ONLY pool, along with CDR for amu and helm, ANY +skills or passives. Probably some others too, just less desirable generally.
3-8million cap per roll?!? I stop rolling at 1mil cuz its still ridiculous
I didn't knew that you can masterwork items without GA lol
would be a waste as still too much gear being dropped, they've not really divulged all the info so we are only just getting to grips with it. one of the things they not doing is removing the current aspect out of the pool (so the same thing is not re-rolled and either way from this has different effects)
