  • In this video we are going to learn what is relay and how to control it using Arduino in depth.
    Also will show you how can we use it to switch on/off AC devices automatically using Arduino Programming.
    As relays are integral part of our electronics projects, I have explained in details about what is relay , with diagram and code explanation.

    It is a useful video compared to the other ones available on TH-cam. One of the reasons is the classification of relays mentioned at 1:36. Could you also add a circuit diagram for the example shown in the video? As the example pertains to the use of AC current, a warning should be given for personal safety.

      Thank you so much for nice comments . I have provided the code and diagram link in the description of the video . Thanks for the suggestion to add warning while handlling AC 👍🏻👏🏻

    do I have to use the COM ? I only conect my NC to the positive of the led and the negative to GND of arduino, the IN, GND, and VCC of relay are conected

      If that works then good 👏🏻👍🏻. Else you must connect comm pin as per connection diagram 👍🏻👏🏻

    Good video. The only suggestion I would make is that your delays in your code should have been set to different values. for instance 4000 and 2000. This way they student would know if they had the relay backwards.

    Good day sir, is the 9V battery enough to trigger the circuit if i want to add RTC module?

    I need about 4 channel relay module, how to set condition on your program

      You can copy paste the code and also make similar connections as single relay . Also check my other videos where I have used 4 relays 👏🏻👍🏻

    Why does a 12v cpu fan is not turning off? Plss help

    Could you explain why relay is necessary since we can also connect directly to arduino pin and turn on off?

    • @hashincludeelectronics
      @hashincludeelectronics  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Arduino pins can’t supply that much current . Mostly it’s around 40 ma. So if we want to use any high current devices then we need to use relay .
