Hello from Texas, my brother in law and me fished that spot in front of the casino and its a great spot, hopefully we will run into you sometime soon, appreciate you posting these Cherokee videos as it can be very confusing up there with all the regs. Thanks and tight lines.
I appreciate your videos it has been 10 years since I've been to cherokee and i have mobility issues now. So its not like im going to wipe the trout population out in a few hours while im there in September. Who knows if i will be able to make it back. thanks again. Im going to make a list of where i can fish to maximize my time there.
Enjoy your videos, and thanks for the tips. Just wondering if any of those spots are easy to get to. Unfortunately I’m not able to get around like I use to when I was younger. Any information wold be greatly appreciated.
Across from Paul's Restaurant is a fishing boardwalk. Very easy. Big Cove Road has many places to pull off the road to walk in an fish. I am 65, I can't climb over rocks like I use too, after two days in Cherokee I feel like I have been beaten with a stick..sore all over. Will be making more videos, will use your thoughts of places that's easy to get too.
@@HeeyManFishing awesome everywhere you showed in these videos only requires a valid nc fishing license correct? I really don’t want to do the wrong thing the fines are hefty: also I know I should be able to find it on line maybe I’m overlooking things I don’t know I appreciate your response and I respect you sharing your spots
@@ArpOutdoorsits all tribal…i would avoid like the plague…you dont want to be on the wrong side of a “littering” ticket andspend your next 4 weekends on a chain gang cleaning up the casino parking lot… I dont want to get into the politics of it…but even though they havent paid federal taxes, millions of acres of free land, interest free loans for said casinos…they still dont take kindly to white folk… Fish at your own risk…
Theirs over 300 holes I have fished in Cherokee some off the beaten path and very hard to get too, all have produce fished. I do understand the point of the ole saying never give up your honey hole. Cherokee's kinda different with trout due to restocking, you can catch numbers right off if they are in there and just stocked, other times you got to work hard at it. I witness a fellow fishing a pocket no bigger then a 55 gallon drum top and hung a 23" trout, that blew my mind..
Thank you for showing these locations. I've been going for years. I'm taking my son next month for the kids Derby.

Thank you Sir, I would appreciate that. Watching your videos compared to me you get around like a teenager.
The KOA ponds are pretty easy to get to I caught my PB rainbow from those ponds
@@rickyberger458 thank you sir. Will definitely give it a try.
@@haroldfields5189 your welcome sir. Those ponds get stocked just like the rest of the streams that surround them. So there is no shortage of fish.
Hey man how can I find out what spots I can use crickets and worms and wheerw is lure only? The regulations are hard to find online
Theres only a two mile section that's fly rod only. Most places are well mark with signs. Live bait can be used outside that two mile area.

Go to Fishcherokee.com and your see a menu. Buy Permit. The waters are Tribal, the NC State Trout permit is no good in Tribal Waters.

What dó you think is going to happen to your "honey holes" when tell the world about them?
😊
People will catch fish there. Then the tribe will restock and restock again.
Is ok some times but not most of the time I never sheer fishing holes call me selfish but I I am for one reason because of trashers !!
