I learned a lot of things about steadicam with your videos so I am really thankful for you to share all of this on TH-cam ! if you have any tips for transitioning from student film and unpaid gigs to real work I would take them gladly. And if you ever go to France (especially Lyon) I would happily pay you a beer ;)

Hey Red What are the pros and cons of a steadycam compared to an easy rig? Could you make a video on that? It feels to me that easy rigs are way easier to setup , its more of a handheld look i think but iv seen a lot of heavy duty gimbals on easy rigs to make it smoother. Could you give me a little input on this?

It depends. At some points it is planned so I do the shots they tell me. Sometimes I am just improving it. But most of the time it is kind of a combination

I don't remember but I would guess 2.8 ish. But, broadcast cameras use a 2/3 inch sensor so dof is not as bad.
