    @SteadiRed - @16:50 it still amazes me how extremely qualified (and actually very good) operators sometimes wonder if their work is good enough to stay on a production. Stay humble my friend, and man, your work is awesome. And it's so sweet how supportive your fiancée is. My wife is my #1 fan. So important! Great channel and thank you very much for the demos on the Volt. Came to be invaluable for a production where I was flying an M2 Volt, so THANKS!!

    hey Red, I love watching your videos and your vlogs are really cool ! I've be doing steadicam for the past three years and started getting paid gigs this year and your video really motivates me to continue pushing my career forward. I learned a lot of things about steadicam with your videos so I am really thankful for you to share all of this on TH-cam ! if you have any tips for transitioning from student film and unpaid gigs to real work I would take them gladly. And if you ever go to France (especially Lyon) I would happily pay you a beer ;)

    Hey Red
    What are the pros and cons of a steadycam compared to an easy rig? Could you make a video on that? It feels to me that easy rigs are way easier to setup , its more of a handheld look i think but iv seen a lot of heavy duty gimbals on easy rigs to make it smoother. Could you give me a little input on this?

  • @BLKCreativeStudio
    @BLKCreativeStudio ปีที่แล้ว

    Watched every minute of this! This was really interesting.
    Pulling focus for those close shots, what T-stop did you have to work with on those lenses?

    • @SteadiRed
      @SteadiRed  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks so much!
      I don't remember but I would guess 2.8 ish. But, broadcast cameras use a 2/3 inch sensor so dof is not as bad.

  • @twotone3070

    That must have been terrifying to think that you'd been sacked? Fabulous news about the new contract, all of your hard work and professionalism has paid off.
    How can you do that to us? ? ? I need to know that it worked out okay for you, how long do I have to wait?
    I'm trying to guess what has broken, is it the end of a spring or perhaps a rod end near the socket block?
