I wasn't Amish, my great grandmother was though. I just know she left as a girl. She passed when I was young, so I didn't have much time with her. I do, however, try to keep Amish recipes alive. I just love your channel. Well done. 😊
I'm eternally intrigued by your peripheral vision enabling you to practically NEVER take your eyes off the camera as you proceed w/your ingredients! I personally purchased Amish bread years ago ...I wish it was attainable locally.....the taste justified that particular trek.
Happy new year 🥳 🎉my momma made bread for us on Saturdays ... we went to town once a month for staples /whatever the budget allowed & she would budget the flour, yeast & such accordingly / however many weeks in the month ... I also made bread for my family 🙏🏼♥️ Thank you for sharing your family recipies🙏🏼 Hopefully it will help young men & women try ... then they too will find unknown joy & healthier living
Oooh these look so good! 🤩 I would absolutely love a recipe on English muffins, as the only place we can get them in the Netherlands is at McDonald's during breakfast hours 😅 I've only ever done that twice in my life as we live on a farm, so no where near any McDonald's and fastfood for breakfast is... not the best 🙈🙈 but those English muffins were quite ok! Even tho I put some other stuff on it too as I did have a lunchbox on me 😂 I just wanted a warm drink and then couldn't resist ordering a muffin as well, just wanted to try it once lol. Then I looked for English muffins everywhere and even online it was impossible to find.
When I was a young adult, I had a neighbor lady who made me dinner rolls. They were delicious. I brought her pan back to he with a thank you note and some flowers from my garden. I've tried to make dinner rolls but have never been able to master that task. I am 67 years old, so that is a lot of years looking. Loving, your rolls look just like hers did.
You cook like my grandmother used to cook . She was the 18th child in her family and she made everything from scratch. I have memories of her making cinnamon sugar cookies for me from her leftover flour mixture.
you use cocoa powder a while back. my mother used it alot. some sunday mornings when i was little, she would make chocolate gravy. it was rare and was a treat like a meatloaf.
a bet it smells nice, if you put a tea spoon of buttermilk in the mix , it can make it fluffier, i use milk and lemon to make my butter milk, love your vids btw
What part of Ohio? I live a few minutes from Middlefield, i also used to travel to Ashland a lot to go to fin feather and fur, and grandpa's cheese barn! Love it here. Moved to Florida for 11 years and had to come back.
Good morning!! How did you know I was going to make some dinner rolls today?😁 I love watching your videos! 👩🍳 Please throw in some extra Amish Humor for me...🙏 you can be quite hilarious!💦🤣💦 ❤ YOUR THE "BEST" ON THE INTERNET!!💯👏 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Normally I wouldn't say something like this on here but I think your a very pretty girl. I live near some of the Amish here in Pennsylvania and I've alway been fascinated with the culture and lifestyle. I wish everyone the best in 2025! God bless everyone
I wish I could figure out how to kneed the bread. No one I have ever known has made bread that is kneeded. I've watched videos, but I still do something wrong. Please make a bread kneeding video without cuts & edits.
Yes it is. I don't know if it's the barbie picture that makes you question it (because that's what made me question it at first), but the links lead to her actual website.
Honestly it freaks me out how you watch the camera the entire time. You almost cut yourself while cutting meat while looking at the camera. Why do you do that???

This is one of my favorite channels on TH-cam. God bless you Lovina!

Bought your cookbook. Thank you so much for sharing good, simple foods. A fan in Canada!
Respectful wholesome eye contact brings my blood pressure down. Respect and love to both you and your husband from Australia.
You make everything look so easy! I got your cookbook. Love it! 💖
That’s how the lunch ladies at school showed me how to form the rolls. They were the best!

I love the way she says butter ❤ love your video’s!
I think you are a star! Your recipes are so good. You are also getting so good at being in front of the camera. You're at home with it!❤

Does the salt not kill the yeast?
God bless
Can I use butter instead of lard?
What happens if we bake without rising?
"Enchoy!" Reminds me of "chuna fish" 😅😊
I need these 😭
i churned butter once or twice, living in an amish paradise. 😂❤
Hi love your videos can you please do on making butter 😻
Shout out Walnut Creek 🎉
Holmes County rules

Butter and jelly or jam
Love our Amish Ohio butter
How are you never blinking?
Do you have a recipe for pecan pie? We got the best ever in Berlin.
Love you Lovina❤
love
is crisco the same as lard?
You can substitute lard with Crisco. Lard is best though.
You're awesome :)

You are ADORABLE..Good Luck with your channel..Im new
And this is how we pinch a loaf.😅
Woooooooooooo🎉
I wish I could figure out how to kneed the bread. No one I have ever known has made bread that is kneeded. I've watched videos, but I still do something wrong. Please make a bread kneeding video without cuts & edits.
it would be much more interesting for viewers to have you interact with your ingredients rather than staying at the camera - WE ADORE YOU!!!
🙏🏻🕊💜...
Blink! 👀
Lovina I adore you ❤
The older I've gotten the more I realize the Amish have had alot right as far as how-to live.
I want them but I don't kneed them.
I worry that I eat too much homemade bread, slathered with too much homemade butter!
Has you mom ever seen your videos? I can tell you loved cooking with her.
Is this her real page?
Yes it is. I don't know if it's the barbie picture that makes you question it (because that's what made me question it at first), but the links lead to her actual website.
Whaddup my Ohio people 🫶🥲
You should see if Walnut Creek Cheese will Sponsor you lol
Such a wonderful wife you will be sweet heart❤
She’s already married. Quality chicks don’t last long.
Don’t forget eye contact. Wow. Lol
Honestly it freaks me out how you watch the camera the entire time. You almost cut yourself while cutting meat while looking at the camera. Why do you do that???
CAN YOU DO Amish buttter
Idk why my comments arent adding
She is SOOOO cute. She is not physically beautiful, like my wife of 40 years but her modesty makes up for that and more.
😂😂😂😂
Why don't you punch your dough? It's the best part!
The constant eye contact and no blinking is rather disturbing
It's bad luck to cut a bun. Tear apart only.
This is too many 30 minutes.
Mmmmm, botter...❤
Why do you talk about healthy eating, but use Lard.
Animal fat (lard) is healthy for you, a lot more so than seed oils and vegetable shortening.
Lard is very healthy. Low fat stuff is the problem, along with seed oils.
And us Americans (who love Trump) love the Amish, and we thank you all for protecting America and standing your ground!! May God Bless you all! 🙏🏻♥️
I'm in love with you please marry me
Lots of bodder
Sad she fakes the Amish
She isn’t faking it. She grew up Amish and only left a few years ago. She is sharing from her life experience.
Fool, she grew up Amish but left. Why make such a stupid comment. There are a lot of examish out here.
She looks at the camera ,she's awsome
