This unusual question time in the House of Lords contained much more substantial discussions than many sections of PM question time in the House of Commons
Dear Mr. Khan, I personally as a former prosecutor do not question the legality of your decision, I am convinced that you actually had and have a sufficient combination of facts and I fully hope that the investigation will give a final criminal assessment. However, I have some comments that I would like to share. In particular, did the Prime Minister of Israel personally give orders for mass killings, to keep the population of Gaza under siege, or to cause other dangerous situations and consequences for their lives or health, or did he have information that the structure headed by the Minister of Defense implemented the above-mentioned realities and if so, then in this case, exactly what kind of decisions did he make, at what intervals, under what political circumstances, etc. Next, while carrying out counter-terrorist operations against extremist and terrorist Hamas fighters, has the Israeli army made effective efforts and steps to counter the extremist propaganda of Hamas and provide humanitarian corridors for the civilian population of Gaza to retreat behind the Israeli army, and if so, has it used the entire arsenal? The rules of the Geneva Convention do not apply to Hamas fighters. As for the sharp speech of the Prime Minister of Israel, I assume that it was directed only at hamas ✨✊✒️✒️✒️✊✨
just like the rest of our infrastructure its capped never to get improved, gotta save money to make sure they can afford to freeze rich peoples tax or even better give them cuts
Palestine is a signatory to The Rome Statute, and so are we the fact we don't recognise Palestine as a state is inconsequential doesn't mean we get to disregard any rulings based on that, we have to stand up for the rule of international law that we signed to be in otherwise we can't moan when other countries break international law at our expense
Israel: Alleges UNRWA personnel participated in the Hamas attack. UK: Okay, we will stop giving aid money to UNRWA immediately; no evidence, due process or investigation is needed. ICJ: Alleges Israel killing over 35,000 may be a war crime. UK: This is not helpful. We can't possibly stop sending Israel weapons without going through our "proper process". Please make that make sense...
the way the Lords talk about foreign countries seems like there's absolutely no problems in the UK, they want to be the saviours of the world, ignoring their own citizens need, while using their money to do this. this is sick, the house of lords should not exist.
The aristocracy, the millionaires, need immigrants to work. Such a tragedy is none of their business. When will you start thinking? Political correctness is the enemy of freedom!!!
