When I get to the brush part, nothing happens on mine. It doesn't brush anything - any ideas?

Make sure white is foreground color.or press X for toggel between foreground and background color

Use ctrl key in place of the command key and you’ll be fine.

What the tutorial was saying was that if you’re a mac you’d use command, if you’re on windows you’d use ctrl.
