This tower was built in 1981 and the lifts were originally 80s express (3rd generation) lifts. I'm not sure about the mod dates. I think the first mods of these lifts were in the 90s or 2000s.
I think it's good that they don't try to hide the fact that some of these lifts are double deck, in the last twin lift video you did the building made no mention of the fact that it was double deck which could be confusing.
The non stop lift to 42 go in main doors by security and it on the left of exculator down small walk way also at 7.00 the single door you see is a totally diffrent lift also behind that locked door is another lift off both stair wells to floors basement to 41
Just make a reservation to go to the 42nd floor Champagne bar (cheapest bottle only £59) To make it seem even more special just remember that the Champagne bar is run by Compass Group, a large multinational commercial caterer. could you access the plant floors next time and film them so I can see all the machinery. I would also like you to access the plant floors on the black bit on the roof and see all the machinery and air conditioning system and HVAC. would be much appreciated and to see the motor rooms as well.
It would depend where the rear side of the double deck lift would open on the plant room floors. The lift is near one of the staircases, so it is most likely there would be another door before the plant room. You would have to either surf the lift and get off at the right moment. The lift does a 1 m/s slow run after safety break (Otis mod logic style), and inspection is alarmed. So it would be a challenge. The other way would be to stick it on fire mode at the switch at the restaurant entrance, then use the fire mode buttons inside the lift. But you would have to make sure the security guy doesn't notice. I am not going back to Tower 42. Security is evil there. But you are welcome to try it!

I'm surprised they haven't used destination dispatch in the upgrade, it could have made the lifts a bit less confusing.

The lift went faster than gravity so I was lifting off the ground like I was flying
