Can you share an insight or two about mixing lots of dynamics together? What mindset are you following? Cause it differs from classical choir recording with mics taking it all together
No they are not upside down. :) they just show compression under the meters in red. So the more signal that goes into compression the more red lights build downword under the traditional meter. Same thing with limiters. In broadcast they like a lot of layers of compression. Thanks for watching!
The mono Keys are not a great idea. We were 48 channels until covid when our mixer just died. When we switched over to these soundcraft mixers in a hurry whe just set up what we had. Mono keys. Then we added more wireless mics up to 21 in total and they want to add more. So before we were limited by channels and could only fit mono keys. We are back into that position due to more mics and other inputs all around. If you can run stereo everything do it. We have 6 channels of different keyboards and organ.
