@DCAVL , the WING's display swivel mechanism and wiring hasn't changed in 5 years, and it had been QA tested for long-term stability. Moving the bezel completely up should certainly not be an issue. Once again, we're truly sorry you've received a faulty unit and we hope it is fixed meanwhile. Man that sucks! I've done ablut 30 shows on my wing compact now with 0 issues! (At least the issues ive had have been me routing things wrong, notably for w-live recording!)

I’ve had mine about 3 weeks or so and this concerns me. So far I haven’t ran into any issues. I will post on here if I do. I hope you get this resolved asap.

The yellow lights don't mean there is no connection. It means the stageboxes are on an older firmware version. They will work just fine.

If you are comfortable with opening the case reseat the cable that goes up to the screen.

Sounds like your firmware file might’ve gotten corrupted which I’ve seen a few threads about recently. There’s a way to access the board’s “hard drive” by plugging usb into a computer and accessing it like a USB drive. You can then delete the potentially corrupted new Firmware and reinstall a new version (or an older firmware to get up and running again and be safe)

same thing happened to me. I had to send mine back the Sweetwater for warranty. Mine happened when I tried to do a firmware update.

There are tests to do to see if the screen is bad you can also power it off and then push the home and meters button at the same time and then turn it on and after 10 seconds let go of the buttons and then touch your screen and see if that helps . You can Google the situation they talk about putting a mouse in there there are several different tests to perform it could’ve been UPS or FedEx throwing your box around could’ve caused the situation of a loose cable but now we have everybody thinking that it’s a global problem with every unit as the remarks come in. It may be a dead screen it may be because you did an update, mini possible solutions and yes at the moment you have a screen that is not lighting up but I just love all the remarks but hey mine is working beautifully now maybe everybody should remark well I’m gonna go buy one because it’s works lol. If you’re not already on there on Facebook they have wing discussion boards which are very informative I suggest getting on them if you’re not

A behringer product with issues? Fortunately I learned my lesson over 30 years ago buying some compressors from the b word.

A: Calm down. Lol. It's early production, there's gonna be some kinks in mass producing these things. B: Send it back, wait for a new one. Sucks to have to wait, but until the Wing craze has died down and stores actually have inventory on hand on a regular basis - you can't just swap it out. Have to be patient. My Wing Rack isn't scheduled to arrive until April, so I'm the king of patient right now. Lol. I'll be hanging onto my X32 Rack (and DL32 stage box, keeping the Midas flavor), probably forever, for a backup (always good to have!). I run my shows on an iPad, so the screen isn't required (but it's very cool to have/look at!). I feel for ya, but it will eventually all be ok. :)

It's a manufacturing defect for sure. A lot of units didn't experience this. I think you should deploy the warranty as some already said. Hope they don't take a lot of time to get another one back to you...

And this is why you pay Allen & Heath money. Behringer have amazing software, all the bells and whistles but have low build quality. This has always been their weakness. The faders, buttons are not it.

Sounds like it's time to deploy the warranty. Meanwhile, can you log in with a tablet or something? If so, then it's probably just the screen. If not there's bigger issues. If it was older, I'd go in looking for a loose/bad cable, but since it's new... warranty.

I know someone who had the exact same issue happened to them on the original full size Wing!!

just wish the console was released 2 months ago since it missed all of the last festival shows and will not be as useful in the winter. Not sure why only influencers are getting first dibs on this as the public have waited a long time for a new console from music group

I currently have the RM32Ai rack mount with the CS18AI control surface.Seems to be the precursor to these boards. I have always had very good luck with the board and it just sounds clean. Currently Waiting on my Wing compact.

Good mix. Future spread those vocals out a little wider. Example 2 tenors left and right, etc. Those instruments needs to be wider and more air on the organ.

You can add two additional Dante cards in the D21m option card slots for a theoretical maximum of 192x192 Dante channels across the three interfaces. They will all behave and operate as totally separate devices on the Dante network so be sure to rename them to make sense of which is which when patching

I'm a x32 owner. I want to get one of these. I love the fact it has the neutrik connection to bypass the preamps if you have external ones. The scene looks dope. I assign things to dca groups and ride the faders from there!!! Now thy take time to setup I installed one in a studio and church the previous console but they're good!!!

There is a learning curve on this butI quite disagree on if youre new to sound that this isnt for you. Bruh there are many online tutorials on how to get this setup and running..this is literally how i got to learn this and it took a few hrs to figure it all out

Congrats on the purchase. I will (hopefully) get mine in early december. Spoke a lot to one of the engineers behind this desk, whom i know from back in my training years, to rule out any doubts about buying it. Can't wait to finally use it.
