Are you serious right now? First Xavier and now Sylus?? This breaks me as a Sylus girlie. None of the boys deserve to be cancelled, and all for what? If you don’t like one of the men, then simply ignore them and move on, is that so hard to do? I don’t even understand why would anyone hate them. sylus got everyone mad at him simply for existing, that's how you know he's an icon 😋on a real note though, i feel sorry for the fans who were working hard on this event and were excited for it. their effort and money was basically wasted :/

Thanks for bringing attention to this issue 😭 I'm Chinese & from what I understand, the amazing Sylus fan who planned this mentioned that the mass reports were specifically targeted at Sylus himself (not LADS). The mass reports also spread to other cities. Consequently, many organisers have refused to take on any works related to Sylus.
There was so much effort, time, and money invested into what would have been the first fan funded 3D showcase for Sylus. It's unfortunate & worrying that disputing against the reports isn't allowed. Because the same incident can apply to ANY LIs in future as long as there's a good amount of reports.
The organisers had also initially checked through the content of the showcase & approved of it. This makes this situation even more messed up considering the content itself meets guidelines.
i heard another fan say that it was toxic fans of other love interests that targeted sylus and reported it, is it true or just a theory? it wouldn't surprise me if it was true bc something similar has happened before with xavier... i just feel sorry for the fans and everyone who was putting in effort in organizing this event :/
This is just sad. I'm a designer myself and - aside of the insane amount of money they spend on that billboard - this shit is SO MUCH WORK. I would be devastated if my hard work would have been pulled just like that. It's just not okay.

LADS fandom is so toxic ngl. Just went on weibo and saw a whole bunch of other LI mains calling it fake and that Sylus girlies are too broke that's why they made an excuse to cover up the fact they can't pay and have seen comments calling Sylus is ugly and that no one wants to see his face on big screen... What even is this? The amount of hate Sylus has been getting from other LI fans ever since his release is just ridiculous. Their LIs are kind and heroic in the story, but these toxic solo fans are the direct opposite of their favs. My heart goes out to the Sylus girls... Hoping this is just a temporary thing and organisers will take up future projects after this one.

The rafayel one was received with big smiles and happy players when it seemed far more suggestive than the Sylus one (I know it was an official board but still) let alone the fact that it would've been better advertisment than whatever they're currently doing with over using the misty invasion clips ...... *_sad little player crying in the corner_*

At this point, they're going to do something that results in the whole game being taken down. Especially if every character is targeted like this. Then we'll get to say, "Congratulations, you not only got this LI taken out but your favorite LI as well. How do you feel now?". Not only that but I've heard rumors that Caleb is still 'alive' and 'might' be the next LI, if it's true we might not have a game to experience it because of this childish behavior 😠. I can see it now: "We can't show this character, or this one, now we can't show this one either... we can't advertise any of them. " If the developers can not advertise their game because it has characters that were red flagged, it's only a matter of time before it's abandoned because it's no longer bringing in enough... of anything, money, new players, etc.
Ugh, dude I hope Caleb is alive!! When I started and that scene at their Gran started playing I was pining for that guy to be a LI only for it to blow up in my face, haha xD

I've already seen CN posts fighting over this bs that Sylus should not be getting his myth cards during other LIs birthday months because it will steal the thunder from them. If the schedule is true, Sylus mains you all got to stay strong...
i seriously doubt that they'll be able to boycott his myth card release though. some toxic fans of other LIs had already planned to boycott sylus' release banner and it didn't work so now that he has a lot more fans, i don't see how they'd be able to full on boycott his cards (i hope so, at least). he may have a lot of haters but he still has way more fans than haters.

It's definitely heartbreaking how toxic the LaD fandom has come down to. Every LI is special in their own way and appeal to everyone differently. If Sylus is not your type, there's NO need to start an unnecessary war. Keep it moving. Be an adult about this situation. None of the LI's deserve cancellation or hate..or deserve unnecessary scenarios where they're rivals. People are taking this "my husband" thing way too far.. they're seriously tripping.

It's hard to believe the reports came entirely from other lads fans. There was all that drama lately with CN rappers dissing lads/women who play otome and complaining about the drones and billboards fans did for Zayne's bday. I wouldn't be surprised if those types are targeting the boys and pass it off as drama to make the fandom look bad

Stop trying to get drama started. It's probably the developers. During Zaynes birthday billboards we're cancelled due to using the IP. The money obtained from his fans was then donated to hospitals that deal with cardiac issues. It wasn't necessarily the developers doing but the company that handled the billboards they did not want to chance getting in trouble. Not everything has to be dramatic.
Not trying to start drama, I’m just making public what is currently happening within the community.
If you watch the video - I talk about the reasons one being possible IP issues, tho the ad does not contain any video or assets used from LADS, so this is unlikely

I really hope InFold (Paper) helps the fans resolve this. Big stunts by fans such as this is free advertisement for the game. It can even inspire chain reactions for this stuff to start happening globally.
If they let the fanmade works get taken down inappropriately, InFold might be setting themselves for future issues where their own official advertisements gets reported and taken down.
Having Sylus and Xavier's PVs struck down was a loss, but at least it didn't cost much to get it back up again. Imagine if this happened to InFold during an offline event where an entire booth was taken down just because an airhead walked by and spotted Sylus there.
I think the devs need to address the fans directly about the toxicity between fanbases. And if anyone is caught acting up by coordinating stunts to mass report PVs, events, or advertisements with ill intentions, just ban their LADS accounts.
If this happened to even 1 person, it'd help regulate the crazy asinine levels of in-fighting and malicious stunts.
But CN devs kinda tend to fear interfering in any way with toxic fan behavior. So, my hopes aren't high that InFold would do anything.
I'm really sad we can't see the full Sylus ad. And the biggest letdown is that no matter who the LI is, the community as a whole would be discouraged to attempt anything big like this again. Cuz every LI has haters and there's no guarantee that someone spiteful wouldn't mess it up.
The entire LADS community has suffered a loss with this one.
