Nice job. What bothers me is that, what's the point of covering rockwool with mdf pieces ? you simply covered most of the absorption areas, leaving only first reflection points intact. Can you explain this approach ?
i wish i have a music studio someday :( even its a mini studio! I cant afford even a cheap studio big problem for me cause i am a music producer but cant record a best quality cause i haven't any recording equipment even a cheap mic i only use a cellphone mic i only have a computer to make a beats i wish i could have :(
@@DrSamE That room has literally 0 "professional" treatment for the amount of bass power the bottom woofers would output making them effectively useless. Soundproofing a room isn't the same as acoustically treating it. From the video alone there is no evidence they even calculated room noise, or frequency nodes. Just because it looks "nice" doesn't mean it is doing a practical job. Do you even know the full wavelength of frequencies around the 20-100Hz range? They have no bass traps set up and there is literally no way there isn't a single low end frequency that would give problems in certain areas of the room. They might have slightly treated the room for much higher frequencies but even then as I said in the entire video there is no evidence they recorded and tested frequencies. Bass is the issue with larger speakers. Bigger isn't always better.
@@phoxydb5544 If I'm understanding correctly, this room was designed by Jens Eklund. (Might be wrong here, but at least those diffusors are provided by him) You clearly have no understanding of acoustics, or how speakers interact with in room. Also you're not understanding what you're seeing in this build. Stop already with that "big speakers, small room" myth You somehow start to remind a troll.
@@DrSamE I can't take you seriously when you literally think a diffuser will deal with bass waves. I studied acoustics. There is NO bass treatment in that room the issue here is BASS. Bass waves have a length of up to 17 metres That room is no larger than 5 metres at it's length there is insufficient space for bass waves to fully develop in that room which would lead to serious issues with it reflecting around in there. How about you actually study the physics of sound before trying to lecture someone who has studied it.
Thank you for sharing! Beautiful space
Awesome!
Hello, thanks for the video. I was wondering how much this build would cost without the speakers ? To have a general idea

This really does suck,
That my studio isn’t this nice and well thought out.
Amazing job!
beautiful..!
Beautiful room. video music is great.
Pls help name all the materials used sir
How much you invested?
The only thing what I can say is “wooow”
Can you tell me what density rock wool did you use ? tnx, nice video
Nice
Nice one!
Would love to see more pics of that desk! Was it custom built? I'm looking for something exactly like that!
Hi, send a email to info at holonor dot com for mor info.
Good
nice!
Nothing about used material?
The insolation is rockwool and slats are made of mdf. The optiffuser is made of styrofoam and is Jens Eklunds own design.
isnt it too small
Nice. How big was the room you started with?
Size of the room is 4,3 x 5m
what sizes of studs are used for this built?
45 x 45 mm
Amazing. Do you remember the total construction time?
Six minutes exactly.
The total time for building the studio is around 320 man-hour.

What is the name of the music please?
Music by: Quiet Nights Orchestra

Hi, what is the height of the room ?
Hi, before the acoustic treatment it was 2500mm and after 2160mm
When you suddenly have money, you can do this!
Sexy but where do I put my drums?😁
might seem like a good idea aesthetically, but those speakers are going to resonate that entire wall...
@MorbidManMusic Never mind that those speakers are too big for the room would have been better to go with just nearfield monitors
@@phoxydb5544 .... There's no such a thing as a "too big speaker for the room". Don't you see its "professionally" treated?
