She immortalized a great Utena with her voice. So sad to know ahe pass a ways so soon when she look so vivid. So she did give something eternal to all fans. She resting in peace now and will always be able to see this moment of her in life.
Utena will live on as will her voice. I pay my respects. She looks pretty happy here. I read she did some voice work despite fighting cancer... She was a tough and brave girl. You wouldnt believe she was the kind who died fighting from this video. Though I believe she would rather not have died proving that. Rest in peace. The fans who watched utena will remember you.

Can you imagine having the tapes from the other famous voice actresses auditionning for Utena? OMG these must be very precious and confidential materials. I don't think you can hear the tapes of seiyuu who "failed" so to speak, though I would pay a good price for them.
I think the voice actresses appeared in the "Utena" like 三石琴乃, 久川綾, 今井由香 have also auditioned "utena" role~~😏😏😏 They are from sailormoon and wedding peach~~👍👍👍
I just finished the show recently and I'm glad that I stuck with the sub rather than the English dub. I rewatched an episode with a friend in English and it was so jarring, the urgency in the tone of everyone's voice was gone and it just felt so off. What an interesting show this was.
I remember that episode about Juri where she's scolding Utena for having the ring and how different it played out in the English dub. It was weird because she had a mean popular girl tone while she was yelling in the sub in a believable manner. That always stuck out to me.

Damn im watching interviews after just finishing watching Utena and I didn't know Utena's VA died. RIP. She really brought Utena to life
