I wouldn't necessarily want to do an edit in that style but I learned a ton from watching you do it! I am super impressed at what you were able to accomplish in a short amount of time.
Pro tip for newbies, If you want to get pictures like Brandon, you're going to have to shoot like Brandon. Most importantly, shoot around blue hour. This is usually right after sunset. The will make or break the style, so remember this. Also invest in a cheap 50mm 1.8 lens for a nice bokeh. This will probably run you around 150$. Most importantly just have fun and experiment. Find out what you like about Brandon's style, and implement that into your own pictures to create your own style.

Do i need a full frame camera?
Maxi Designs You don't need one but a full frame would definitely have better low light performance when shooting in blue hour.
start with a $600 crop-sensor camera (non full frame), use it for a year (maybe more if you like) and once you've hit that sweet spot when you know exactly what is missing from your camera, then you can upgrade. that's my personal advice
Maxi Designs : you shoukd go for the sony a6000 with a 50mm lens. Iso is good and you wont be breaking the bank.
There are a lot of people who try to mimic Bandon's style but you are the closest man, great job. You should really do more editing tutorials :)

As someone who hasn’t done any photography expect for basic photoshop on photos taken on my phone I am literally speechless and I’m not even halfway through the video. This has given me so much motivation to work on making my photos better. If I took a photo like the before shot, I would have just called it a day but this video has inspired me to try and work on my editing techniques!

I don't have Instagram. I don't know who Brandon is. I use an old Nokia phone and I don't own a camera. I know - old school. Though, I watched all 10 minutes of this. I have no idea why. Comes down to preference...style and instagram style...apply a filter simple eazy...why so much work...it is instagram photo...very digital color, fake unnatual... why not...different strokes for different folks...ahaha but not for me...i dont like this type of photography...sorry. thanks for trying.

I appreciate the tutorial, but taking images off Google to blend into yours leaves a taste of copyright infringement. And not giving the original photographers credit isn't on the polite side either.

It is a great exclusive guide for learning professional photo editing minus the headache. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my close friend Aubrey at last got great success with it.
@Najib Casa Have you heard about the technique where you can take a broom shaft and shove it up your ass (I think I saw it on Google)? Apparently it's effective for straightening out crooked people! I've only heard great things about it and it's apparently funny to watch to, according to close friend. Successful outcome guaranteed.

An amazing tutorial. Some great tips on processing. I questioned why someone would want to consciously imitate someone else's technique or style when my wife reminded me that's how I started, and to this day I imitate Ansel Adams' black and white processing all the time.

Nick Garcia it’s not a website it is adobe Lightroom. If you buy Adobe it is $ 40.00 a month unless ur a student then its half off. It comes with tons of editing softwares that all specialize in their own things and has no limits. It is the best editing program only matched by Final Cut Pro. If you are interested in editing I recommend getting one of the too. I have it and is well worth it! Sorry for such a long message.

Agreed. Even though the images used were changed a lot, he is essentially saying it is ok to take someone else's work. I am a full time professional photographer and plan to add some images to stock sites so this is very irritating. Other than that a good video.

I couldn’t believe he did that either. I never read TH-cam comments but thought I’d go looking to see if other people might’ve found that “a little bit” inappropriate as well.
To be fair, (though it isn't necessarily what he did in the tutorial), it's easy to set a google image search to look for only images with the right distribution license
U did a good job mimicking his editing style. Too bad brandon is the most uncreative repetitive photographer in the famous photographer scene.
