These guys are genius... They have this special sound and universel. Once you get to the place they wanna take you to, you just become a fan.

It started with Breathing Underwater, now I'm hooked.
As a fan of their music and a drummer myself, I did not skip over their talking. A unique band like this? You need to hear their process, thoughts and overall ideas. ( This was written in America)
+Rudare916 Its quite abstract, metaphysical, spiritual, philosophical. She explained it in a very visual manner. I listened to it twice.
This band is influenced by such a wide array of genres. Elements of hip hop, psychedelic/prog rock, Motown, & jazz are all present in their music.
The intro to "Shaolin Monk Motherfunk" reminds me of the intros to great Yes songs like "Close to the Edge" & "Gates of Delirium", while the rhythmic brilliance of "Borderline with my Atoms" reminds me of Coltrane.
These guys are truly incredible!

Yeah they're still making music. I think they're working on an album at the moment, but have slowed down due to the coronavirus. They all have side projects and individual releases too. Perrin Moss (the drummer) drops music under the name of Clever Austin and has an album and a sort of mixtape out; both great bodies of work. Nai Palm has a solo album out where it's mostly just her singing and playing guitar. Simon Mavin and Paul Bender recently dropped and album on bandcamp under the name of "The Sweet Enoughs". It's an album just full of vibes, I highly recommend checking all the projects out. Hopefully we will get a new Hiatus album within the next year or so!
And yeah that bird was vibin' out with them in the studio! Sadly her bird passed away about a year or two ago.
Oh and all three of the boys have an album out under the band name "Swooping". They just released it back in March and it's an album of improvisations from 2015-2017.
