I know your probably never gonna read this but Nai Palm your now one of my favorite guitarists of all time. Never have i heard such a groovy and knowledgeable player in the area of chordal harmony who is humble enough to understand the favorable nature of the instrument within various settings. I love Hiatus Kaiyote. Please come to Kenya!! :-)

Aww man. My brain was fighting between listening to her speak and listening to her sing throughout that whole video. I respect both equally.

super inspiring stuff to hear. i've been trying to deal with criticism from others for my writing lately and this helped to be able to begin tackling it

MrSpikeyZ Glad to hear it helped you - this video of Ella Hooper and Jesse Hooper discussing songwriting techniques might be useful to you as well... And don't stop writing - use any feedback to motivate you and to help you improve. Good luck with it! th-cam.com/video/QNrKvQyySOE/w-d-xo.html

It's a really nice idea to show the raw music of Hiatus, or Nai Palm, and the interview it's as well so raw in the good sense. But it's complicated to put both things together, tray to listen what she says and try to listen the raw elements in her music while she's playing.
For me it would be better if you could separate tracks or half the interview half the song.

Hi really good I write songs but im actually scared to sing them or play them anywhere and I did quite a few good things a little while back in music and then just got sidetracked and now im sscared to perform anywhere and in the process dont take my songwriting serious and keep losing songs and misplacing them and stuff but this is really inspiring thank you :)
