Is there a way to transfer the Reminders across (not Calendar Reminders but the actual Reminders as found in the iPhone Reminders App), and without having to pay? Also, do I have to have an equivalent of Reminders for Android on my Galaxy phone for the transferred Reminders to be inserted into it, and which one would that be? If the App is free and its on the other platform then yes should be ok. Otherwise you are changing platforms so you will have to pay.
i get a "no content" message after signing into my icloud, and yes i did do a backup and I can see my latest photos on my icloud via my desktop, any idea? when i tried moving photos over from ios to s8 via USB cable it only copied 20 photos

yep, i updated smart switch and i no longer see this message but now it greys out photos in the list so i cant tick to import my photos

its transferred all items ticked (messages, notes etc) but it says i have 0 photos so its greyed out for photos
Thats weird. And where you log ingo icloud.com there is nothing there? Try a manual copy via a computer?

I have spent more hours then I care to admit trying to accomplish this. Others have said to use Smart Switch but to select iCloud & that was not an option. You explained it better using wifi. However I really just needed to transfer some text messages & that was NOT one of the options unless they are in Documents? Help?

Try going to the www.icloud.com and login there. You should see data there if you have backed the iPhone up?
my iphone screen dont work its just black so I bought a Samsung s7 edge like 2 month ago and just now tried to do it i can log in but shows no data so I dunno if I need to get on my iphone and set it up ready to send it across plus I locked my iphone so I need to get on it to unlock it from itunes so dunno if that does anything
yes ouch you might be stuck. So does the iphone power on at all? Sometimes it turns on but has a black screen. In this case you might be able to get the data of the device by plugging it into a computer.

Whatsapp pictures are in a different location. If you want those to copy move them from Whatsapp folder to the picture folder. Or move them manually.

If it wont turn on mate then this would be a problem. I am not sure how you can get the photos off a dead device. Maybe data recovery?

123myIT I don't think it has the log into apple ID option anymore, I think I will need to buy an USB OTG to connect both phone and transfer the data, not sure if that will work

You can't.. Android devices use another type of app (.apk) than ios.. you could possibly go transfer the app but I don't think it would execute

No it does not work 😪 i have tried it. I cannot backup whatsapp on google drive becausd it is only backup on icloud i cannot choose where i want the backup.

great vid but unfortunately if you have 2-factor authentication on your Apple ID then it won't work. it requires you to turn off 2-factor authebtivation but that can't be done for Apple ID :/

Depends on the App shady. Remember you are moving from iOS to Android. So the apps are different. I would check with the app creators support.

Hi Luv, the Whatsapp will install, but you need to make sure you have an itunes account. Also the data may not transfer you might have to do it manually. I am trying to find out more about this and will do a video soon.

Backup your data on the motorolla then see if there is a download data app when you wipe you phone.
I am facing the same issue here I backed up my WhatsApp data to iCloud as shown in your iCloud backup video but I am unable to find the SmartSwitch app in the play store. The phone I am trying to switch to is Moto G5 Plus
Usually the phones will have their own software t transfer data too. Check you settings backup menu.

yeh right might not be supported. Try finding the software tool for which ever phone you are moving too. All phones have it, it might be under backup ?
