Hi, thanks for a great review. I have the same car and I love it, best car I've ever had. My experiences are a bit different with range not getting anywhere near the 250 miles that was on the dash when I drove it of the forecourt. Over the three years of ownership I would get around 200 miles, however, in recent months I barely get 180 miles. On occasion the dash goes crazy and beeps on and off for quite some time, lane assist is on but it thinks it's off etc.

So much depends on your right foot, the wind, terrain, but don't forget the number on the dash is a computer guess about how you will drive in the future. If you do lots of short trips they're very inefficient much like a petrol car so that will reduce the computer prediction. Drive at 65 on a long drive and set the heating to manual rather than auto and the numbers creep up. 65 is a lot more efficient than 70

Hello Enyaq Gorm, We just took delivery of your old Skoda Enyaq today from Sonnie and Co at the West end Skoda dealership in Dunfermline. We were looking for a big family car and took advantage of the Energy Saving Tust transport loan. We are feeling really fortunate to have such a nice vehicle! All the best with your new car.

I changed my Enyaq iv60 in January for the same reason and went for the 85. Don’t forget to renew the road tax before the end of March next year for an extra year at zero road tax.

To be precise it’s Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) is it not?

aha, you went for it then! I don't blame you, sound's like you have got a great deal, and the preconditioning is a game changer in my opinion if you are doing lots of trips out, which you clearly do.

Well..... 375 miles Milton Keynes to Edinburgh last week, 15 minutes at Stafford to go to the toilet and buy a coffee (to go not drinking while we charged) and then we had the range to get to Gretna but stopped at Tebay as the food is better. 24 minutes for dinner and toilet and that was enough to get to Edinburgh. Not bad for a 60. Charged fast enough every time that the car was waiting for us not the other way around

@@enyaq_gorm They are very good. We had a similar experience last week on the way to leics from Devon. We can't make it all the way in one go, but only need a top up. We stopped at the Gloucester services and popped it on a supercharger. By the time we had gone to the toilet, bought some sandwiches and a tea, it had gone from 54% to 92%, which I thought was really impressive. It's can only have been 20 ish minutes max. If it had the charging curve of the new 85's it would be outstanding.

Not had the screen blacking out (other than the infotainment but that was me being a numpty and forgetting I'd turned it off - however with all those controls on that screen that is not great) but I did get a funny one - the driver's info screen with the speedo woke up blurred and stayed blurred for 60 miles. It did sort itself out at the second start up... hope it's not a sign of things to come after 18 months!

Keen to see what's coming even though I think I know what it is.
You mentioned road tax so for clarity I'd like to add that it's £190 from 1 April 2025.
If you purchase a NEW EV after 1 April 2025 then you'll have to pay the "expensive car supplement" from the second tax payment onwards i.e. 1 April 2026. (I remember when "expensive" was over 5 figures 😡). Check the gov uk site vehicle tax for electric and low emissions vehicles.

My Enyaq is coming up to 3 years in December. I’m minded to hang on to it, can you advise the cost of extending your warranty (assuming you didn’t purchase new), and whether it includes roadside assistance? Skoda won’t quote me until a month before the 3 year warranty expires. Look forward to the new car reveal.
